Halloween Photo Contest!!

As many of you know, I used to run the Deranged Photography Contest from my main account, but with the creation of the Photography Lovers Community, I felt that it would be better to host the photography contest through that account.

The only downside is that when I posted the Photography Lovers Photo Contest post, it does not show up in the community feed, which means that a lot of people have missed the announcement that the contest is back on.

I have decided that for the future weeks of the photo contest, we will be using the Photography Lovers Badge account for any and all things that are pertaining to informing the community. Whether it is curation reports, photo contest, or just information in general. This is because there is no way to pin the posts made by the true community account nor is there an easy way to get posts made from that account to show up in the community feed. It also makes it a whole lot easier to follow accounts and gift the community badge.

If you are going to participate in this week's Photo Contest be sure to create your post in the Photography Lovers Community and comment on the contest post for your entry to be valid.

About my photo

The zombie photo was taken with my friend Noa that was using some of his zombie prosthetics and makeup. We did a promo for his company and I designed a few posters and internet banners for him.

I created the Cassidy FX Logo in Adobe After Effects and then imported it into Photoshop to finish making the banner.

This one was my favorite of the ones that I created for him. He no longer runs his special effects store because he was hired by the Evermore Park that I have been posting about and has been creating things for them and doing makeup for a lot of the characters in the park.
