Buenas buenas...

Queridos Hivers, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy traigo para compartir una receta fácil, práctica y sabrosa; ideal para cualquier momento del día y hasta para alguna reunión. Son unas arepas dulces. Para mí son muy sabrosas, sobre todo si le agrego margarina y queso llanero rayado. Así que te invito a que te quedes a ver y leer.

Ingredientes a usar:
2 tazas de harina de maíz
½ de panela de papelón
3 tazas de agua
200 gramos de anís dulce
1 pizca de sal
100 gramos de azúcar
Margarina
Queso llanero rallado

Preparación:
Lo primero que realizo es picar en trozos el papelón, lo coloco en un bol y le agrego una taza de agua, para que se vaya derritiendo, sin necesidad de cocinarlo. Yo lo deje alrededor de 4 horas antes de usarlo.

Cuando el papelón esta derretido es momento de hacer la masa. Voy a realizarla en ese mismo bol, comienzo agregando las 2 tazas de agua restantes, luego echo un poco de azúcar, la sal, 1 taza de harina de maíz, el anís, por último la otra taza de harina de maíz. Amaso todo hasta que se incorporen y listo.

Coloco un caldero con suficiente aceite para freír, en la cocina para que se caliente bien.

Cuando está bien caliente, comienzo a realizar las arepas y a que se cocinen. A mí no me gustan muy gruesas y las hago un poco grande para que sean menos cantidad. Se cocinan relativamente rápido.

Al estar lista la coloco en un plato, luego cuando tengo 2 listas las coloco en otro plato para terminar de servir, le agrego margarina y queso llanero rayado. Listo para degustar.

Preparation:

When the papelón is melted, it is time to make the dough. I am going to make it in the same bowl, I start by adding the remaining 2 cups of water, then I add a little sugar, salt, 1 cup of corn flour, aniseed, and finally the other cup of corn flour. I knead everything until they are incorporated and that's it.

I place a cauldron with enough oil for frying, on the stove so that it heats up well.

When it is hot enough, I begin to make the arepas and cook them. I don't like them too thick and I make them a little big so they are less in quantity. They cook relatively fast.

When they are ready I place them on a plate, then when I have 2 ready I place them on another plate to finish serving, I add margarine and grated llanero cheese. Ready to taste.
