A delicious Christmas dinner, Cuban style.
Hola amigos feliz inicio de semana, hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes un Liketu especial sobre una cena especial de un plato llamado Congri Cubano este es un plato navideño tradicional de allá y una amiga de Cuba que vive aquí en Venezuela, le pedimos que nos preparara un plato cubano y ella decidió prepararnos este con mucho cariño el cual nos dijo que era su plato navideño.
Ella estaba feliz de poder compartir esta comida con nosotros, nos dijo que tenía 8 años sin compartir este plato en Navidad y que estaba feliz de vernos a todos reunidos allí en esa mesa y poder compartir este Congri, que es una preparación de arroz con caraota negra acompañado de carne de cerdo, ensalada de lechuga y tomate, tostones de plátano, aguacate en rodajas, más un aderezo de pigmento y cebolla.
La verdad es que estaba un poco nerviosa, no sabía cuál sería nuestra primera impresión de este plato preparado por ella, pero la verdad es que toda la comida estaba muy deliciosa, realmente se esmeró con toda la preparación, fue una velada increíble y quedamos en que ahora le tocará a otra casa preparar una comida tradicional de su región y nos tocará a nosotros preparar la región llanera, lo que pasa es que somos varios amigos y somos de diferentes partes de Venezuela y bueno nuestra amiga Lisandra que es de Cuba.

Hello friends happy start of the week, today I come to share with you a special Liketu about a special dinner of a dish called Cuban Congri this is a traditional Christmas dish from there and a friend from Cuba who lives here in Venezuela, we asked her to prepare us a Cuban dish and she decided to prepare us this with much affection which she told us that it was her Christmas dish.
She was happy to be able to share this food with us, she told us that she had 8 years without sharing this dish at Christmas and that she was happy to see us all gathered there at that table and to be able to share this Congri, which is a preparation of rice with black caraota accompanied by pork, lettuce and tomato salad, plantain tostones, sliced avocado, plus a dressing of pigment and onions.
The truth is that she was a little nervous, she did not know what our first impression of this dish prepared by her would be, but the truth is that all the food was very delicious, she really took care with all the preparation, it was an incredible evening and we agreed that now it will be the turn of another house to prepare a traditional meal of their region and it will be our turn to prepare the llanera region, the thing is that we are several friends and we are from different parts of Venezuela and well our friend Lisandra who is from Cuba.

As I look at the Christmas dishes, it seems that they are all delicious, my friend. The Santa Christmas Cake at the center is so fantastic. And I am craving a blend of tomatoes on the dishes.
