Gloxinia

Gloxinia or as it is also called here "Royal Violet". It is probably because of the size, but I would rather say because of the colours. Wonderful dark purple, dark red... it has white and other colours. It took me a long time to get to know her routine, but I think we are finally good. The one I photographed is the latest. I planted it last year and now it's the first to bloom. The other two are still just buds.

This is the one I've had for several years. Full of buds that will turn into dark purple flowers:

And another one that is purple in colour but a subspecies similar to Gloxinia whose photos I posted today. (if I remember correctly).
