One visit to the museum
These photos are taken in a museum in Vršac. My favourite town, my hometown.
Every time I visit it, I try to learn as much as possible about its history.
Vršac is a city of grapes (and of course wine), strong wind all year round, pilots, paragliders, beautiful architecture, endless plains dotted with yellow sunflowers and the edge of the Carpathians.
I will try to translate some inscriptions from the museum. It will tell you more about the city in the XIX century.
Everyday Life
"Daily life in Vršac in the 19th century was not much different from today.
Vršac has become an organized town for living with many hotels, inns, steam baths and shops with luxury, foreign goods.
On the weekends, concerts were heard in the "town garden" or they went on a trip to the hill. Wealthier Vrscans had summer houses on the hill and spent their free time there.
Political events were followed by the daily press, but the people of Vrsac liked to make jokes about local politicians and everyday problems in several satirical papers that were regularly published full of caricatures."
This is a drawing of a wooden bicycle, made in 1870 for the Vienna exhibition.
View from the museum to the Vršac Cathedral.
Thank you to every single person who reads my post.
Some people use words, others use light to say what they feel.

Amazing peaceful city, went there on daily trip last year, unfortunately had no enough time to visit everything, but train station left the biggest impression.
