Prespa

Today I rejoiced like a little child as we drove to Prespa Lake. When I saw the lake in the distance, I screamed yeeeeeee. My favourite place in the world. One of the oldest lakes, rich in flora and fauna, wrapped in an atmosphere of tranquillity and uniqueness. But when we arrived at our destination, my yeeeeeee turned into neeeeeeeee.
My lake is disappearing!?
It has survived for millions of years and is disappearing right in front of our eyes.

I couldn't believe how much it had shrunk in just three years.
The pubs in the area were full. I felt like grabbing someone by the shoulders and starting to shake them. Do they see what is happening and why? Does anyone know where so much water is disappearing?
