Instant Ramen Battle: Local vs Imported!!!
Hello, friends especially foodies!
Today i would like to share our second breakfast experience. We have never tried the local instant ramen before, so when we bought groceries around 2-3 weeks ago we tried to buy two of it, with only a price of 6,200 IDR (i already lost the receipt) for each let's try to taste it... And compare the taste with the real japanese instant ramen (i already written about the detail taste of real japanese instant ramen on my article before).. So let's begin now.
From the packaging, here how the instant ramen looked like, even with the same brand with what i had tried before, this one had indonesian name in front. It also made in Indonesia. They only had one variant of ramen, the chicken broth flavour.
While the imported one had Japanese and English language. It was made in Singapore. They had some variants of flavour which you could search and pick one you like. We tried the tokyo shoyu ramen.
The local ramen had the chilli oil and also seasoning powder. Like usually it also put on the plate or bowl, while you cooked the noodle.
It was different with the imported one, it had seasoning powder, seasoning oil and also garnish (needed to put on the noodle while we cook it).
If you take a look closer you would see that they also had different texture of ramen.
And now i would like to talk about the most important thing here, taste!
The local one had the spicy and savory soup, coloured like miso but didn't taste miso at all. The noodle tasted so so cause it had light flavour.
While the imported one was so mouth watering, it had perfect texture with savory and sweet flavour, not spicy but really tasty and delicious.
But what i talk about noodle won't be finished without the price. While the local one only 6,200 IDR (only around 0.44 USD), the imported one had the price of 26,900 IDR (around 1.9 USD) so it was more 4 times of the local price, but it was really worth the price cause it was so tasty.
The price of the imported ramen
I really loved the imported instant ramen one cause it was so tasty and delicious so i think it is worth the price and i don't mind the price. So the winner of this battle was the imported one.
But it's really depends on you to choose, based on taste or price to decide the food you take..
Buena experiencia, el experimentar con sabores.
gracias

Okay, the next time... I'll compare products!
