Maybe you don’t know the relation between Korean Takeaway with Iced Choco, well in this article I would let you know..

On Saturday night, two weeks ago, mom and I spent the night in one of over decades shopping center in the south of Jakarta, Blok M Plaza. This plaza was located right in front of my previous office building and also it was connected with the MRT station, an electric fast train in my city. Well, in the same plaze, if you already read my yesterday article, we also had had a tasty Thai Suki dinner…….. Then before going back home, why didn’t we bought something to enjoy at home?

This time we would like to buy something from a Korean restaurant on UG floor, it was located not far from both South and also East Lobby, and they always had something sweets on their glass showing case to take home. Let’s check out what they were..

They had two kind of sweet cakes there which called ommaffin and donut. The variants of ommaffin that they had were cookies and cream, taro, lemon choco, chocolate sprinkle, cinnamon apple, red velvet, cheese in the trap, banofee, peanut berry and biscoff. Oh now they also had some croffles too there. And for the variants of the donuts they had were cookies and cream, taro, blueberry cheese, lemon choco, cream cheese, chocolate sprinkle, double choco, red velvet, tiramisu, peanut berry, biscoff and cinnamon apple. These kind of sweet Korean cakes were popular here, the proof, their showing off case was full when we came in the plaza before the dinner but it was emptier now… After a hard struggling, we then finally could decide which cakes would we buy for the takeaway that day!

Now time to pay, in the cashier table we saw some of their banners, one showing only 9,900 IDR of iced choco or iced blackcurrant or iced milk coffee, well why don’t we give it a try?

So we bought the iced choco from this same restaurant. And actually this restaurant had other Korean food like toppoki, ramyun, myongdong, dosirak and other main dishes but we were still full after our Thai dinner.

For 6 pcs of the mixture between ommaffins and donuts and an iced coffee we paid 65,400 IDR or around 4.42 USD, this price was included the paper bag we bought to put our takeaway.

After paid we sat on their dining area.

it was quite large and cozy, clean and also light. We were waiting until a waiter delivered the iced chocolate. Well I think they had a nice dining area for us to do the chit chat after drinking teas, enjoy teas or even having main dishes there.

Not a long time then the iced choco was delivered. It had the thickest chocolate ever, so the taste was sweet bitter, like the natural flavour of the chocolate. Wanna try? Think it had tasty deep chocolate with only around 0.67 USD price!

After had had their iced choco we then went back home..

Ta da, here was what we had bought

We bought 3 kind of donuts with cream cheese, red velvet and tiramisu topping and also 3 kind of ommaffins with biscoff, choco sprinkle and cheese in the trap topping.

Now i would like to share how were their taste and also flavour. Ommaffin had texture like bread but soft with the topping and filling, like below, they were chocolate sprinkle and cheese in a trap.

Both had cream, the chocolate had chocolate cream while the cheese had vanilla cream. The cream was tasty, one of an exception for me, because I liked it even I couldn’t eat many kind of creams. The between both were just the topping and filling actually, mom loves cheese, while me, as always, chocolate!!! We also still had another actually with biscoff topping.

Now let me tell you the different between the donut and the ommaffin we bought, their donuts only had the topping with no filling, and also no holes. For the cinnamon apple doughnut had sweet flavour and had cinnamon apple flavour too. It had totally sugar around.

For the red velvet and tiramisu donuts, the flavour were also sweet, but tiramisu had coffee flavour in it too.
