What i got in my mind...

" Farewell is not a goodbye. It's just a new beginning of life chapter! "

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Like i already mentioned above, what i would like to share to you all today is our last lunch together as the full team. 3 of us will leave us soon, begun with the youngest of us, which would leave us this Friday. The farewell lunch was taken place on Tuesday because on Wednesday one of us would be cannot join and also today (Thursday) and also tomorrow i won't be able to join our last lunch so our last lunch together as a full team held on Tuesday.

The Menu

In the morning, our co-worker who would leave us, shared to us the menu of the nearest Japanese beef bowl restaurant which we could reach on foot, here was the menu that the restaurant had

For the main dishes they had beef bowl with three variants of beef: original, yakiniku or black pepper. They also had crispy chicken bowl which had 3 choices of dressing: egg mayo, red hot chilli, and black pepper; ebi shrimp bowl; shrimp bowl; and teriyaki chicken bowl. They also had combination of veggies, beef (original or yakiniku) and teriyaki chicken or karaage.

Actually they still had some other menus like rice with fried chicken, and some packages which included beefbowl and some fried side dishes (they had two kind of it, made from chicken or the seafood one). And also the side dishes they had were crispy chicken, chicken karaage, egg roll, shewmai, ebi fry, kani cream croquette, mix seafood coin, and golden roll. For the drink here they had free flow ocha, milky tea, soda or even fruity drink.

Me with other co-workers arrived there at around 12.10 pm, while the co-worker which will leave us soon, had come first to order for us. It took around 5-7 minutes to reach there on foot.

The Outlook of the Restaurant

This restaurant rented a ground floor of an office building, to enter and dine in there, we needed to scan the qr code of the government's application. This required for easier tracking access here due to covid 19 spread. We also needed to scan it before enter any public places here like office building, mall even our own office.

After we scanned usually our vaccination status would be seen in the app as the banner color and it is also connected to our citizen's number. If our banner were green then we could enter the public places.

The Dining Area

The dining area here was quite large, clean and neat. And the room inside was enough for all of us, unfortunately the air conditioner was not cold at all, during lunchtime, the weather was also hot. The health protocol there was strict, a table would only could be seated by two persons.

The Food

The food arrived very late, they looked too busy to serve all of us quickly, because they also had some other customers and also online app customers beside us. Our main dishes and the toppings came first, while later one by one the fried dishes and then drink out too. We needed to help them by taking our own food and drink tray on their table. Not a good service but they didn't have much team there too, so ok, we could understand.

I took a selfie before eating the rice bowl and when me and a co-worker were eating our lunch.

Here were what i ate that day

I ordered their puas package which contained the original beef bowl, seafood fried dishes, hot ocha and also crispy spinach topping.

The Taste & The Flavour

Beef bowl and also crispy spinach topping

The beef slices were soft, with light sweet and savory flavour. It was less tasty than it usually, maybe because they needed to serve many customers but i don't think they could do that to the flavour of their authentic menu, they should do better next time. And the crispy spinach had savory flavour with crunchy texture. I added the chilli powder to both the beef bowl and also crispy spinach.

The side dish, Fried Seafood

What i had that day, egg roll, shewmay and also ebi fry.

Egg roll had tasty savory flavour with the chicken and also shrimp meat.
Fried shewmay also had savory flavour. It had chicken meat inside.
And last, ebi fry, with the crunchy skin, it had soft texture and shrimp inside with light savory flavour.

The situation of our last lunch together

Some of us shared the fried side dishes cause they didn't pick the mixed fried like i did, they hadn't known that before, they thought they could share easily here but not during this pandemic, which they forgot. They should come to other table to share the fried dishes. Lunch with the team members always fun but unfortunately it would be officially the laat time.

Our Full Team Member

After the lunch before going back to work, we had some photo sessions together,

Three of the seated members would leave us soon, started with the youngest on in the middle.

Nothing would last forever, but i hope our friendship would last forever..
