Meet Our Cats, Bubu and Bocil!
Hello, animal lover friends!
From my childhood time, I already love animals, in my toddler time I collected animal dolls. And then when I was a child, eventhough I was scared of cats and also dogs that time, I started to have some pets. I had a small chick named Peggy, then I also had pair of the marmots (one of them waiting for me when it passed away), and a brazilian turtle that my aunt gave to me on my birthday. That’s all.
One of the experience I never forget is when one of my cousin came from the other city and he brought his dog. His dog was a silent, but nice one. A small poodle dog I could remember, that I later could play with, this helped me a lot to reduce my scareness of dogs. Yes one aspect that I scared from dogs was the barking loud voice, that totally made me nuts and surprised. But that one passed too, I had a four feet friend on my neighbourhood when I was a youngster, a golden retriever dog named Husky which was a great companion of me and mom. It even accompanied me in the evening when I needed to go to tutor a student in our neighbourhood, really it was nice and like people said, dog is man’s best friend.
And why I also didn’t like cats in my childhood is because I had a bad experience when the cats that I didn’t know passing even body contacted us when we went to a seafood stall on the street, that was really annoying and that’s why I was scared of cats.
But then day by day passed, I became an adult that didn’t scare anymore to both cats and dogs, even I see that my life wouldn’t be the same without them. One of my hardest emotional situation came when, I lost both of my kittens Do and Re after the passed away of their sister, Mi.
This was a picture of Mi.
She liked to crawl on my knees , but she never put her body to press my knees so she never hurted me, nice of her. She was the most intelligent one.
They were my very first kittens ever, and we got them by accident, their mother cat left them in our yarn, then we didn’t have any ideas then just accepted them as our family members and gave them food, place to stay and the love they needed.
I shared to you two of Do, Re, Mi most memorable moments. First one I never forget how they always accompany me outside our fence when I get back home. And the other one when they were listening to mom carefully.
We loved them much!
But God had His own way, they left us forever on the first month of this year, left us with Bocil. A kitten which was survived. And this was the picture of Do and Re, just a week before Do passed away and then 2 weeks later, Re then followed Do.
They had cute black and white color, Do was the one which had more black colors than Re. This picture was taken just a day after Do got better after a fever he struggled with (Re was even got not a good health since he was only at the age of 2 months old, he had a weak digestion), I still remember that they left this cute pose as a feeling that they would leave me forever.
Losing all of the kittens from a mother cat was not easy for us, losing Do and Re was also not an easy thing for Bocil. Bocil even missed Do and Re and he was keep sleeping on their bed at the back yard for a week. But life must go on, now Bocil, the ginger color kitten, is almost one year old. And now let me tell you about two of the four cats that we had at home (2 others were a mother cat and her little kitten, I would like to introduce them to you later).
Through this article, I would like to introduce you to Bocil and Bubu. Both Bocil and Bubu were found in our yard when they were still little kittens. Bocil is a male cat with ginger color fur while Bubu is a female cat with grey color fur. Both were domestic cats and they didn’t found at the same time. When bocil came, he was one curious small kitten at the age of 2 months. Here how he looked that time..
He loved to play with Do and Re and they mingled up so quickly. When Re was sick, Bocil always there to accompanied him all the time. What a good boy!
Bocil likes to eat and he ate a lot. When first he came, he produced a loud voice when he was eating. It made the other kittens that day, Do and Re surprised. He loved to climb and when he couldn’t get down back he cried so that we rescued him. During his childhood he had slim body, liked to play and also jump. He loved belly rub also. Here are some photos of his grown up moment.
Months later, Bubu came. When first came, she was a bit shy. But then she grew up fast, now her body is twice longer than the first she came and she has twice height than when she arrived in our yard. Always loves to play, she also brave, smart and funny. Soon, Bubu became the joy in our family. I bought her her first toy and I enjoyed the moment playing with her.
I also bought her a hoodie cloth and then take some pictures of her in her pink cloth. So cute and next time I am going to buy her a dress. A bit difficult to take any pictures of Bubu because she is very active and she loves to move. So once she enjoyed the situation (she loves the pink cloth I bouth her), I could take some pictures of her. How cute!
Recently I also bought a cat tunnel for them to play and another catch ball game. They looked enjoying them much, Bubu played a bit brutal with the tunnel, it could moved to other side of the room when she played. While Bocil was kind of a quite cat. They like to play together. Look how fun the game they played together.
They know how to catch the ball correctly on each of the orange dish. They concentrated well on the balls.
I never forget to give them liquid snacks in the morning, before I go to work. They love liquid cat much so that I bought many of it. While Bocil likes any flavour, Bubu has her own favorite salmon flavour. For food, Bubu is really different with Bocil. Bubu is really a picker and doesn’t like to eat much food.
And also like many other cats they like to scratch, jump, and climb. They are active and when they play outside the house, usually as the older cat, Bocil which now is almost a year old, always pays attention and accompanies Bubu, which was 6 months younger. Bocil had shorter fur than Bubu, and the color also brighter than Bubu.
Look how cute they were when they played on the yard this morning! They loved to play hide and seek together, and they also did this indoor.
