Santa Claus Paper Chain – easy DIY Christmas décor How to
Hello, friends!
Yesterday I just finished making this cute santa paper chain, you could also make it at home cause all you need were so easy to find.
Materials & Things Needed:
- Origami paper
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Drawing paper
- Pencil
- Glue stick
- Red ribbon or rope
- Ruler
How to make it:
1ST
First I measure the origami 16x16 cm I have, then I divided them into 4 equal rectangles, I cut it in red and also black, for the black I would use the white part of it, so If you have white paper I recommend you to use the white paper. Then I cut them off. I then drew the two buttons on red origami. Then I glued the white paper in the middle to form the chain, then I also did the same for the red buttoned origami, and next I continued with another white paper on its’ top.
2ND
Then, I cut the black belt, and also yellow for the head of the belt, then I glued it on another red origami. Also glued in the middle after it was joined with the other chains. After that, I drew another two buttons on other red origami.
3RD
Also, I joined another paper chain on the top (white one). After that I drew the santa’s head and beard on the drawing paper. Glued the red origami and made the Christmas hat. I also made the face with cream origami and also red nose, glued the face.
4TH
Then, cut the moustache also with drawing paper then paste it on the face. I also cut a white circle and two closed smiling eyes with black origami.
5TH
Last, I glued the face with other chains then I put the ribbon behind the head then knotted the ribbon. Voila, this cute paper chain is finished and ready to décor my room.
