Hello, friends especially foodies!

Passing days without mom is hard, beside working I needed to take care of the house myself and I still missing and losing my eternal model for my foodie articles (LOL). But I keep in hope, and stay strong, I know I have to move on but ready or not I have to pass it.

Recently before she went, we had enjoyed some good foodie experiences together. One of them was happened in one of the Ramenya restaurant which was located on Senayan City (Sency).

It had two gates with open concept restaurant.

Although this restaurant was quite large, wide and bright, but this also had lots of customers. Thanks God we came there earlier for the dinner so we then got a table with chairs, while around us, some customers were there too.

The interior of this restaurant had the Japanese style, some mirror with gyoza drawing. Look great and also modern.

The menu that this restaurant had were mostly ramen. They had spicy beef ramen, beef ramen, spicy chicken curry ramen, chicken curry ramen. Also karaage ramen, chicken miso ramen, karaage curry ramen, ebi tempura ramen, chicken popcorn ramen, salted egg ramen which also had spicy ramen variant.

The legendary chicken ramen (was used to be our favorite) and the hot one, volcano chicken ramen and spicy chicken ramen.

Also they had some side dishes like gyoza (all chicken, the different was only how they cooked it, the fried and roasted), croquette, and karaage. They also had some cold colorful drinks.

After waiting around 10-15 minutes, the ramens came and also the fried gyoza then we needed to wait until we were almost finished eating then finally the roasted gyoza delivered. Here was our dinner

That day mom tried their beef ramen, while me i tried their chicken miso ramen. Let's check how were their difference..

Beef Ramen

Chicken Miso Ramen

First, the texture of our noodle. Mom always chooses her favorite curly noodle while me, i prefer the straight and smooth one all the time.

Then, the flavour. If mine was tasty savory in miso flavour, mom's was really savory flavour.

I had the chicken slices (sweet and soft!), half of the boiled egg, seaweed and sweet corn. I love them all as toppings. While, mom's had beef yakiniku included the onion which had savory flavour. Same like mine it also served with seaweed and also boiled egg.

Both actually had savory flavour, the different would be mine tasted better because it had savory miso flavour while mom's was too savory. So i think the winner is my chicken miso ramen!

Beside the main dishes we also ordered the gyozas that day. We had the fried and the grilled ones. The fried ones had tasty savory flavour with crunchy skin, while the grilled ones also had savory flavour but with grilled skin. They had chicken meat filling and you could have them with sweet a bit spicy chilli sauce.

The price of the food and all in ramenya weren't expensive. Imagine, we also had a glass of fresh calm free flow ocha beside our dinner and the price for them all was just 131,100 IDR or around 8.74 USD.

We had great time there but the cashier had bad service so that i couldn"t pay by using any QR codes they had on the cashier table and she said only could receive debit cards (grumpy, i then paid and said that it was silly that day). Beside the cashier, the waiters there were great.

So would you try the ramen like ours? Which variant will you order?
