Some time ago, my friend and I visited lotte mart to do some shopping. There was something unusual that I encountered, it was a noodle zone. Lotte did renovate a few months ago, but I didn't expect a noodle zone like this. This place is specialized for various types of instant noodles from several countries. Most are from Indonesia and South Korea because Lotte mart itself is a brand from South Korea. There are various brands of noodles from South Korea sold here. It just so happens that in the last few years, Indonesian locals have become passionate about all things Korean. All of this is the effect of the korean wave that is increasingly globalized.

My favorite Korean noodle brand is Nongshim Shin Ramyun. I like the shrimp flavor the most. I used to like another brand but it turned out to contain pork. I once accidentally ate it because I didn't know it contained pork. But after finding out, I never bought it again. How about you, what's your favorite Korean noodle brand?

What's interesting about this noodle zone is that they set up a special booth for noodle tasting. So, you can taste several brands of noodles before buying them. By the way, not only Korean noodle brands are in this noodle zone. Many Indonesian brands are sold here, especially indomie. For me, Indomie is the best noodle brand ever, no wonder it's worldwide fame. But there are Indonesian noodle brands other than indomie that are no less delicious, namely sedap noodles. Indomie and mie sedap are the two most delicious noodle brands in the world in my opinion.
