WE - 141 || My Childhood

Hello everyone! How are you? I just saw the contest announcement this week and was very interested in entering. This week's theme is very interesting. I'm most interested in the theme of childhood. Somehow I get emotional after thinking back about my childhood.

When talking about my childhood, what I remember is my grandparents and my hometown. I was born and raised until the age of fifteen in a small village which is my hometown. At that time I was not even two years old when my parents divorced. At a very young age I had to separate from my parents and live with my grandparents. Even so, this is one thing that I am thankful for because my grandparents gave me so much love. They are two of the most meritorious people in my life. Even though they have passed away, they are still the ones I love most besides my mother. What I am most grateful for from my childhood is the teachings of my grandparents that shaped my character now. I'm so grateful that I grew up well and become what I am now. Not that I'm proud of myself, but I think my character is pretty good.

From a young age, I was taught not to always depend on and bother other people, so when I grew up I became a very independent woman. When I was little, my grandparents taught me to always respect and speak politely to my parents, even now I still always respect and speak politely to my elders.

When I was little, living in the village with my grandparents was not easy for me. My grandparents are just farmers with a small income. But they always meet my needs. Since childhood I have been trained to live hard, so when I grow up like now I can get through all the difficulties of life that I experience. At least so far I can get through all the difficulties well. For me it was all thanks to my grandparents' upbringing as a child.

Actually there are many more that I want to remember but very difficult to put into words. So, I think that's enough. I am very happy to be participating in this week's contest.
