A Good Season And What I Learn From It

We had an End Of Season a few hours ago. It was the reset that I bet everyone had been waiting for. So how's your season then?

My season was not good as I had expected before. It was not due to the game, it was not due to me, but I had some heavy workloads on my real world life. I did not get enough time so I did not play properly... or maybe it was a proper one but you all were the ones who overplayed this game or spending too much time on HIVE lol.

This was my performance last season. Overall it was an OK season. My win rate for the rank battles stayed above 51%, and it meant a lot for me. I was not that bad or got deteriorated over time. I was still able to play good games, beating out many opponents.

So this was my first point I have learnt from end of season. I AM A GOOD PLAYER, I AM ABOVE AVERAGE AND MAYBE AMONG THE STRONG ONES!

LoL it sounds like I like bragging about myself. Well I am being objective there, 51% win rate is not easy. Ok let's move on the second thing, the survival mode.

I finally managed to complete 100+ battles however I did not manage to get 250+ battles for the extra GLINT bonus. For me the time was not there, I had very limited amount of time. Playing 200+ rank battles had already consumed most of my time.

SO this was the second point I got, TIME IS LIMITED, I NEED TO MAKE PRIORITY BASED ON MYSELF, NOT FROM OTHERS

Anyway I get two copies of this Darkguard Hellion. He is not my type, I have no meta that needs him however seeing him again makes me happy. I know I am getting back to my bare minimum track, trying to get all the rewards available in this game at the minimum level.

I doubt I will be able to level him up to a decent level, but let me enjoy having a useless card as memento of how I try to play this game at my best in my limited condition lol.

Now let's talk about SPS rewards...

Before I talk about my SPS rewards, I am very sad seeing my 64k SPS now is valued at 224 USD. Initially I had some plans to swap those SPS back to HIVE, but at this rate... maybe I just ignore it for the best.

My rewards from staking and license are the same as the previous season. I get around 400 SPS and 90 vouchers. This is my seasonal fund, I will sell them to acquire some DEC to fund my rental.

For the battle rewards, last season was a lot lower. I only got 875 SPS, finally dropped below 1.000 SPS. The reason behind this was the number of battles I played last season.

I only played 111 battles that I won and 105 battles that I lost... It was 216 battles, this was a low number of battles. Ideally, you aim for 15 wins everyday to get the maximum of daily rewards. It means you will have 15 victories/day times 15 days a season, so it will be around 225 victories.

Mine was only 111, almost a half of the expected 225 victories. So I should be able to get twice from what I have today if I played optimally. I am still happy playing Splinterlands today and that my third point... PLAY FOR FUN, SPLINTERLANDS IS NOT AN INVESTMENT OR ONLINE JOB
