170 Callahan, Drawing step by step /Rising Star.
Fellow Rising Star fans, today I want to share my most recent drawing of another of the game's beautiful cards. In this case, I chose a card from the Commons section called 170 Callahan. This is a very elegant card due to the character's outfit. I tried my best to make it as elegant as possible. In the preview above, you can see the final result, but the interesting part is seeing how I did it, and that's precisely what I'm going to show you now.
As usual, I started by drawing the first three frames that make up the card's frame. This will be the basis for the entire drawing I'll do later. I'll show you.
Once I had that ready, I started designing Callahan. As you can see in the screenshots below, I started by creating his legs first. Then I worked my way up to creating his entire body.
The next thing I did was add some details to give the drawing more life. For example, I added the character's tie and some extra details to his clothing. And of course, the face, which is almost always what I leave for last. I'm showing you this completed step.
Okay, so it's time to paint all this. I started with the interior frame of the letter. Then I painted the exterior. For the exterior, I used the exact color palette from the original letter. I'll show you several of the drawing stages.
To finish the drawing, all I needed to do was add the name of the card and the game, which is like a seal of approval that everything is finished. 😅 So, below, I'll show you how it finally turned out. As always, it's been a pleasure to share this drawing with all of you. See you in a new post.
