Another day at the chessboard, another day of Antichess + Prizes of the next Antichess Tournament

Greetings again Hive chess community, today I bring you a new antichess class if you still want to know some tricks on the board to not lose so fast in these games, most of them are fast and do not withstand much analysis at the basic level but there are some simple tips.

I will illustrate them with some games that are quite good for me to show you how to play at an intermediate level, I started to play a little more than a year ago and honestly I have a good level in Lichess.

the opening is important

it's rare to see theory in anything other than the base game but believe it or not it's even more important to know all the opening tricks or traps before you even get on the board.

as i told you the games are quick and end after a few minutes with no major repercussions but in games like the ones above where you make unforced errors you tend to be doomed after a few moves.

study the openings, or suffer them.

be aware of the tempo

in some game you will find yourself in a situation where you can capture several pieces and your opponent the same, here you have to be very careful and see if at the end of all that series of captures you don't end up losing time and end up in an unfavourable sequence, you can't escape from those if you play a solid player who knows how to take advantage of them.

it happened to me in this game that I neglected the times, and I got into a sequence that was not good at all, I ended up with the queen (the piece that occupies the most squares, on the other side of the board).

watch out for winning sequences

they can be anywhere, after a move of your opponent you always have to be aware if any pawn move or any positional move can give you a decisive advantage, remember that most of these games are intended to be short so it is more likely that mistakes are made and can be taken advantage of.

regarding the prizes and the tournament

I'm going to put everything I win in this and the following posts into the prize pool for the tournaments I have planned, I want to give out a decent amount as well as I'm already contributing to @stayoutoftherz's hivechess using his beneficiaries, so any votes you have out there I promise you will have a good time when the tournament comes out.

I plan to do this in the coming weeks, before any hivechess announcement so I don't interfere with the hivechess and we can play and have a good time.
