How I Feel About Long Distance Relationships.

We are now in a global world where you can easily connect to people in every part of the country, life has been made easy through technology. The evolution of Social Media also made communication easy, people now engage in long distance relationship, even when sometime this relationship doesn't end well, it has been a blessing to some.

I really love to express myself a lot, and social media has really helped me with that and that was the reason I choosed blogging. But when it comes to long distance relationships, it is not just my thing, I want to really connect with people and strangers from around the world, but as simple it may look or sound I still find it so difficult to successfully do it.

I have tried long distance relationships both romantic and a casual one, but it didn't end well. The reason is because I'm a kind of girl who actually focus on people around me, the ones I see everyday, because I feel that there is no strong bond with people that are far away from you, there is not enough connection, and the people over there would be in their mind first before they think about you.

That is why when a friend travels to a far place either for business or for another important thing and he or she would not be coming back for a while, the relationship will just tend to fade, we might be calling and chatting during the period person left but as time goes on we would not be talking to each other and the relationship might just be pending for the main time. Although when we later meet or when the person comes back we will still continue as if nothing happened, we chat and talk like never before, but you see that long distance vibe I can't handle the connection.

My friends have been telling me how they have really benefited from a long distance relationship, some found their business partners, best friends and some even went far by finding their life partner wow!. When they tell me about their long distance relationship accomplishment I really get jealous, but there is nothing to be done about it. I have meet friends on social media, at first we used to have great time, checking up on each other, chatting with each other and after a while I begin to loose interest and the other person seeing this would think I don't want him again or I have beginning to develop pride, whatever they may think and they would also loose interest.

I know it is not good, at least I should just make one successful, but I have learned it is just who I am and I'm not expected to force myself, I just want to be myself.
