Season Rewards and a Tournament

This is my first Splinterlands post. I've been delaying jumping on the Splintertalk train for no good reason and decided that today was the day! I'm the leader of the Pizza 2 The Deep Dish guild for Hive.Pizza and plan to get more Splinterlands posts up in the future. For now I just wanted to do a baseline!
Here you can see my epic and legendaries, my total card power of 16505 as well!

Here's my minimal gold foil collection!

I play a lot with Water, Earth, and Dragon, but feel my collection is rounded enough to do ok with most splinters! I have played my way up to Gold leagues with a few rental cards but most often at the moment I play to the max league my power will allow. This way I'm not spending DEC on rentals that I may not necessarily get maximum usage out of. I can't guarantee to play every day at the moment! My strategy at the moment is to build up my collection over time by minimizing my expenses and intelligently buying cards that I can get at the right price. I fully intend to grab Chaos Legion packs when they are available and have been collecting some SPS in the meantime! I'm hoping to have enough power to push up to the higher silvers or even gold without too many rentals soon.

A quick snap of this seasons rewards for my 12 chests! Not a bad haul really- though I'd have preferred epics and legendaries! LOL
