Hello Hive Open Mic family! 😍
I'm pleased to be a part of Hive Open Mic week 174.

The theme which says Beacon of light is a unique one that can be interpreted in different contexts.
According to Google, A beacon is a light or a fire, usually on a hilltop or tower, which acts as a signal or a warning. A beacon of light is a lighthouse that is set on a hill.
For me, God is my beacon of Light. He leads me, he signals me, he guides me.
I try to emulate his footsteps.

It's for that reason that I chose a song by Tatiana Manaois titled Mountains. The song speaks of how God led the singer when she was in a state of confusion, and how all her challenges ( mountains) would still be right in front of her if God had not led her.

Likewise, I resonate with the song. God as my Beacon of Light is the reason I've made it this far. If not for His grace, I'd definitely be down, cold with an empty broken heart as the song says.
