Comedy: THE LOCAL THIEVES

It is only in taraba state in my country that thieves would break into your house and steal your tooth paste, tooth brush, under wears and kitchen utensils. They will jump over your wallet or debit card on the floor and go directly to your wardrobe to steal a fancy waist belt. When i was in jalingo taraba state capital one evening i heard my opposite neighbor raising an alarm over a home invasion by thieves but just before we could arrive at her house the thieves were no longer there. Investigations were carried out in the house and surprisingly everything was in place including the money she kept in the lockers but the only thing that got missing were drinks from the fridge and the pot of rice that was still cooking on the gas cooker. No doubt that these thieves were not after money but rather hunger must have been dealing mercilessly with them.

Sometime ago two thieves broke into the house of a famous politician in taraba state and according to the news, it was reported that when they broke into the house, it was looking too big and fancy with lovely interior decorations and designs that kept their mouths and eyes widely opened all through their stay. First of all it was a heaven on earth for them so they decided to feel at home. One thief jumped on the sofa in the sitting room and was pretty excited on how it rocked and bounced him back woww.. he picked up the remote, turned on the air-condition and made himself comfortable while his eyes couldn't get enough of the palace he just found himself.

It was just about 30 minutes later when the second thief joined his colleague in the sitting room with two full plates of yummy noodles, he prepared it by himself from the kitchen and made sure to use all the fishes and vegetables he found in the fridge. At this point i was becoming confused if are thieves or they have been in the house before or they came to visit as relatives?. The way they ate and felt so comfortable in the house i bet the actual owner of this house had never had such an exciting moment in that house. Like they always say, 999 days for the thief to keep patronizing but just 1 day is set for the thief to get caught.

After eating to stupor, they sat like kings in the sitting room, with their legs carefully placed on the table as if they actually bought it for the owner of the house or they even knew the price, the air conditioner uninterruptedly pumping out winter while we were in the middle of summer. their eyes, soul and spirit were stuck to a 50 inches 4k ultra HD smart TV display television watching an interesting Netflix drama. You could imagine where these thieves were at this moment, paradise on earth.

One of the thieves started feeling cold due to the winter they asked the Air-condition to supply and he started shivering but instead of turning off or increasing the temperature a bit, the nerds went inside the room and brought out a very big blanket and hide themselves under it leaving only their faces outside so they dont miss any part of the Netflix drama.

This is all i knew about this hilarious thieves who broke into someone's house but when they asked the owner of the house how he managed to catch and arrest these thieves he said that he just walked into his sitting room and found two people covered with blankets, sleeping on the sofa with Netflix movie playing at a high volume from the television. He was confused on what to do so he quickly shut all doors and called the police.

This is how i understood that the Netflix drama the thieves were watching must have been a lullaby plus the two plates of delicious noodles that they just ate and the air-condition made sure that they fair well in deep sleep till the owner of the house came and even called the police they were still asleep.
Anyways the police personally woke them up with hand cuffs and they were arrested along with the blankets so that they will have what to cover themselves with while in prison.
