Coppersmith Barbet - Megalaima haemacephala

Hello feathered friends

When a good friend saw this bird. She told me that she love this bird. :)
Thats why i tried my best to make sure to photograph it everytime i had a chance to see it at the park where i shoot.

it's name my guess came from the bird calls it produced. it really sounded like a coppersmith hitting a copper on an anvil. pok...pok...pok.. :)

The second shot is incredible and fantastic ! I'm envious of your super power, birds fly away as soon as I look in their direction 😆

What a beautiful and interesting bird! This powerful beak ... it looks like a kingfisher and a woodpecker.
