Some time ago I had the opportunity to return to my hometown which is in Bireuen district, Aceh province, Indonesia.

The atmosphere in the village is indeed different from where I live now in the city of Lhokseumawe. It took me more than 1 hour to travel back to my village.

Even though I was only there for a moment, I felt a completely different atmosphere. Especially when I was on the Peusangan river, one of the longest rivers in my province.

Enjoying the panoramic view of the clear water of the river is very pleasant, especially since the location is perfect for settling down as a camping location with friends. I thought that someday I could bring them here.

Even though I'm in a village, I think the infrastructure there is already very good, compared to 10 or 15 years ago. The atmosphere is still very different, let alone the bridge, electricity has not yet entered here.

I spent time by the river while taking some pictures, the sky is still blue, very beautiful images produced by the lens of course.

The routine people there are farmers, although it is located at the foot of the hill, my hometown is a fairly fertile area.

Gradual irrigation makes farmers here able to start planting rice with a cycle of 3 times a year for planting and harvesting.

Currently entering the harvest season, a number of farmers seem busy protecting their rice plants from the attack of sparrows.

I also captured a number of pictures in the rice fields, a very comfortable atmosphere for a vacation. This is what makes me feel at home in my hometown.
