This is how inventories arose, as a way to cope with periods of scarcity and with the clear knowledge of how much merchandise they had stored. In this way, it would ensure the subsistence of organizations over time and the development of their operational activities in an objective and correct manner.

El manejo del inventario es un punto central para evitar problemas financieros en las organizaciones, es un elemento fundamental e indispensable en la producción de las empresas, pues es la base para la comercialización que le permite generar ganancias y crecimiento sostenido.
On the other hand, the inventory turnover is the way to see the goods in a tangible and perceptible way, in many occasions it is not an easy task, but it is not difficult either and although it can be a tedious exercise, it is a fundamental part in the development of the companies, the inventories represent a great percentage of the investment on the working capital of the companies independently of their size.
Por otra parte la rotación del inventario recae en la forma de ver los bienes de modo tangibles y perceptible, en muchas ocasiones resulta ser una labor no fácil, pero tampoco difícil y aunque puede resultar ser un ejercicio tedioso, es parte fundamental en el desarrollo de las empresas, los inventarios representan un grandísimo porcentaje de la inversión sobre el capital de trabajo de las empresas independientemente de su tamaño.
Therefore, an optimal management of inventory turnover will contribute to achieve better results at the end of the year with benefits in profits and would be maximizing the use of the organization's resources.
Por lo tanto un óptimo manejo de la rotación de los inventarios contribuirá a conseguir mejores resultados en el cierre del año de las empresas con beneficios en las utilidades y estaría maximizando la utilización de los recursos de la organización.
On the contrary, if good inventory management is not carried out, storage costs may increase and the capital required for the development of the organization's operations will increase, which will manifest itself in the future in a loss of value.
Por el contrario, de no realizarse una buena administración de los inventarios se podrá incurrir en el aumento de los costos de almacenamiento y el capital requerido para el desarrollo de las operaciones de la organización se incrementaría, lo cual se manifestará en el futuro en una pérdida de valor.
