4th Edition of the Federal Barbecue Championship in Buenos Aires [ENG/ESP]

Argentina is a country well known for its rich gastronomic culture and love for barbecue. There is no better way to celebrate it than with a championship and this is the 4th edition.
Greetings to all friends! Last Sunday this event was held in Buenos Aires where we had the opportunity to delight our palate with the best meat from the hand of excellent grillers. Today I want to share with you my experience and review of this edition.
I am pleased to share it in this community and I must also mention that this is my first post here, which excites me a lot.
Saludos a todos amigos! El pasado domingo se realizó este evento en Buenos Aires dónde ofreció la oportunidad de delirar nuestro paladar con la mejor carne de la mano de excelentes parrilleros. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia y reseña de esta edición.
Complacido de compartirlo en ésta comunidad además debo mencionar que éste es mi primer post acá, lo cual me entusiasma muchísimo.
The Place
The event was held on the very popular and well known 9 de Julio Avenue, which was closed so that the large influx of people could enjoy the dishes and sales stands. This avenue is very popular and is where the famous Obelisk of Buenos Aires is located, so it is a good reference point.
In the following pictures I show you a little bit about the space and the crowd of people who attended to taste the delights of the Argentinean asado. There was a lot of decoration in allusion to the event and several food stands with affordable prices.
El evento se realizó en la muy popular y conocida avenida 9 de Julio, la cual fué cerrada para que la gran afluencia de personas puedan disfrutar de los platos y Stands de ventas. Ésta avenida es muy popular y es donde se encuentra el famoso Obelisco de Buenos Aires, así que es un buen punto de referencia.
En las siguientes fotografías les muestro un poco sobre el espacio y la multitud de personas que asistieron para probar las delicias del asado argentino. Había mucha decoración en alusión al evento y diversos puestos de comida con precios solidarios y accesibles.
The place was the stage for various attractions ranging from games for children to a large stage where live musical groups performed to liven up the stay of the people.
If any of you have heard about Argentina and its gastronomy you know the level of culture and exaltation with which it is managed. Seeing all these images I could use a term like "locos por el asado" with all the respect of the phrase, and it is that in my perception the meat of this country is the best I have ever tasted by far.
El lugar fue escenario para diversas atracciones que fueron desde juegos para los más chicos hasta una gran tarima dónde se presentaron grupos musicales en vivo para amenizar mucho más la estancia o estadía de las personas.
Si alguno de ustedes ha oído sobre argentina y su gastronomía conoce el nivel de cultura y exaltación con el que se maneja. Viendo todas éstas imágenes pudiera usar un término como "locos por el asado" con todo el respeto de la frase, y es que a mí percepción la carne de este país es la mejor que haya probado lejos.
The Food
A picture says much more than a thousand words... It is a phrase that would fit perfectly on this occasion. Obviously it is roast beef but it has its various dishes and in these first images you can see how they are preparing it on the stake, one of the many ways of cooking and according to experts it is very exquisite.
In this stand the line to order was endless, that indicates that the preparation or cuts can be very good, right? Besides, you don't have to think about it too much just by looking at the appearance of the food and its preparation in front of all the people 😍
Una imagen dice mucho más que mil palabras... Es una frase que encajaria perfectamente en esta ocasión. Obviamente se trata de carne asada pero tiene sus diversos platos y en esta primeras imágenes pueden ver cómo la están preparando en la estaca, una de las tantas formas de cocinar y según expertos muy exquisita.
En este stand la fila para ordenar era interminable, eso indica que puede ser muy buena la preparación o cortes, cierto? Además no habría que pensarlo demasiado con tan solo mirar el aspecto de la comida y su preparación frente a todas las personas 😍
The presentation of the dishes and the different cuts were present throughout the length and breadth of the avenue where they offered the public meat stews, chorizo sandwiches, meat, bondiola and hamburgers. Dishes of pork meat with salad and side dishes, without a doubt, a great variety with respect to the barbecue or grill.
This was within the public space, however the championship was held in a separate closed place also within the avenue but in a more exclusive way where the best barbecue restaurants in the country were located. In this section of photographs I show you some moments during the preparation of these dishes and some pieces of meat during the cooking process.
La presentación de los platos y los distintos cortes se hacieron presentes a lo largo y ancho de la avenida en dónde ofrecieron al público estofados de carne, sándwiches de chorizo, carne , bondiola y hamburguesas. Platos de carne de cerdo con ensalada y acompañantes, sin duda alguna una gran variedad con respecto a lo que es el asado o parrilla.
Esto era dentro del espacio al público, sin embargo el campeonato se llevó a cabo en un lugar aparte cerrado también dentro de la avenida pero de una forma más exclusiva en dónde se encontraban los mejores asadores del país. En esta sección de fotografías les muestro algunos momentos durante la preparación de estos platos y algunas piezas de carne durante su cocción.
International Food Stands
Another and no less important were the international food stands that delighted the public with their gastronomy from different countries and in this case I show you some Cuban, Mexican and Colombian food stands. This was a part where there was a lot of affluence of people and without a doubt the dishes were worth tasting them.
Otro y no menos importante eran los Stands de comida internacional que deleitaron al público con su gastronomía de diferentes países y en este caso les muestro algunos puestos de comida cubana, mexicana y colombiana. Esta era una parte donde había mucha afluencia de personas y sin duda los platillos valían la pena degustarlos.
Other groups from the Asian continent could not be missing. The Lebanese and Taiwanese food stands where my family was encouraged to try some of the dishes.
It is a very important event in the country where the gastronomic culture of Argentina is shared nationally and internationally and also offers the appreciation of other culinary cultures from different countries.
I definitely considered it a very appropriate post to share in this great community and in this way let you know about the relationship of this fourth edition and offer you my experience and review about this championship or festival. No podía faltar además otras colectividades del continente asiático. Los Stands de comida libanesa y taiwanesa dónde mi familia se animó a probar alguno de los platos.
Es un evento muy importante en el país donde se comparte de manera nacional e internacional la cultura gastronómica de Argentina y ofrece además la apreciación de otras culturas culinarias de diversos países.
Definitivamente consideré un post bastante apropiado para compartir en esta grandiosa comunidad y de esta manera dar a conocer sobre la relación de esta cuarta edición y ofrecerles mi experiencia y reseña sobre este campeonato o festival. ¿Qué opinas sobre esto? No, mentira. Yo empecé a comer carne bastante grandecita, de niña la odiaba. Ahora no puedo parar! Yo me he visto mil episodios de "Locos por el asado" Y no te voy a negar que he intentado una que otra receta. Una de las cositas que mas deseo hacer cuando visite argentina es probar todos los asados posibles. Me encanto tu post, creo que de estar allí yo saldría con una fuerte dolor de barriga 🤣
También he visto mil episodios y es una locura estoy muy seguro de que si estuvieses aquí y degustar toda esa carne te encantaría, así como también estoy seguro de que te llevaría al médico con ese dolor de estómago jajajaja 🤣
¡Excelente! Me hubiese gustado ir pero tuve otro compromiso jajaja. Dios el asado está tan bueno, me alegro por la gente que pudo ir y lo pudo disfrutar 😃. El quinto no me lo pierdo :-p
