A Passage Called 'Gorostiaga' [ENG/ESP]
Not always the most attractive things are big buildings and exuberant structures, obviously it also depends on the tastes of each person, I am particularly attracted to simple, classic or minimalist things. Something attractive about the city of Buenos Aires is that there are hidden corners that can be interesting if you look closely.
Walking through the streets of Palermo I found a special passage called 'Gorostiaga' and I was very struck by its appearance because among so much modernism I found a small place with classic structures and architecture, which are still standing and functioning. Here are some pictures of the houses and buildings of this passage.
No siempre lo más atractivo se trata de grandes edificios y exhuberantes estructuras, obviamente también depende de los gustos de cada persona, particularmente me llama mucho la atención las cosas simples, clásicas o minimalistas. Algo atractivo de la ciudad de Buenos Aires es que se hayan rinconcitos escondidos que pueden ser interesantes si miras con detenimiento.
Caminando por las calles del barrio de Palermo encontré una especial de pasaje llamado 'Gorostiaga' y me llamo mucho la atención su apariencia ya que entre tanto modernismo encontré un pequeño lugar con estructuras y arquitecturas clásicas, que se mantienen aún en pie y en funcionamiento. Acá unas fotos de las casas y edificios de este pasaje.
The details of these works are clearly influenced by the European styles that were adopted in Argentina more than a century ago, the windows, balconies and columns clearly represent a classic style and it is important that these structures are maintained over time because it is history.
It is also worth mentioning that it is not very common to find this type of buildings in well preserved states, in some of these works it can be noticed that there is a shortage of labor and in others not, this happens when they are private properties because it gives greater emphasis to the structures that declare national historic monuments and the state takes care of them.
Los detalles de éstas obras son claramente influencia de los estilos europeos que adoptaron en Argentina hace más de un siglo, las ventanas, balcones y columnas notablemente representan un estilo clásico y es importante que éstas estructuras se mantengan con el tiempo porque es historia.
Cabe destacar de igual forma que es poco concurrente encontrar este tipo de edificacaciones en estados bien conservados, en algunas de estas obras puede notarse que hay escasez de mano de obra y en otras no, esto sucede cuando son propiedades privadas ya que de le da mayor énfasis a las estructuras que declaran monumentos históricos nacionales y el estado se hace cargo de ellos.
So, this is a different post.... Beyond an effort to look for angles and strive for great shots is what lies behind the photographs, what we can appreciate in terms of what we see in the place and not the photograph itself. At least for me, this type of landscapes, streets or neighborhoods that in a certain way are not different within a metropolis, catch my attention.

Así que, éste es un post diferente... Más allá de un esfuerzo por buscar ángulos y esmerarse en tomas geniales es lo que hay detrás de las fotografías, lo que podemos apreciar en cuanto a lo que vemos en el lugar y no a la fotografía en sí. Al menos a mí me llama muchísimo la atención este tipo de paisajes, calles o barrios que de cierta forma sin diferentes dentro de una metrópolis.

I personally enjoy classic and simple things, also minimalist. It's a way of life for me.
These buildings and passages are beautiful. A wonderful place to go for a walk, and sight seeing.
