Architecture, Streets and People, Buenos Aires | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]

What's up friends? Let's go with a mixed post today where I highlight different aspects such as architecture, the streets of the city and the people who pass through it. I must mention that it has cost me a little selection according to the photos I took in two neighborhoods of the capital, these neighborhoods are San Nicolas and Belgrano, one quite far from the other and the photos were taken on different days.

I begin this article with a photo of a person waiting for the traffic light to change in order to cross Leandro Alem Avenue in San Nicolas, near the Casa Rosada. Photo that I find very touching, quite casual, from day to day, in combination with the lines/bars of the metrobus station, holding his jacket and the wind hitting his face.

! [Spanish Version] ¿Que tal amigos? Vamos con un post mixto el día de hoy en dónde resalto diferentes aspectos como la arquitectura, las calles de la ciudad y las personas que la transitan. Debo mencionar que me ha costado un poco la selección según las fotos que tomé en dos barrios de la capital, estos barrios son San Nicolás y Belgrano, uno bastante alejado del otro y las fotos fueron tomadas en días diferentes.
Comienzo este artículo con una foto de una persona esperando el cambio de luz del semáforo para poder cruzar la avenida Leandro Alem en San Nicolás, cerca de la Casa Rosada. Foto que encuentro muy emotiva, bastante casual, del día a día, en combinación con las líneas/barras de la estación del metrobus, sosteniendo su chaqueta y el viento golpeando su rostro.

In this first series of three photos we go to the neighborhood of Belgrano and we can see the train station 'Belgrano C', near the Chinatown. It is a very interesting and attractive station that looks like a tunnel, well actually it is... with a cloudy sky and people sitting around and others lining up while waiting for the bus of their choice.

I decided to take a shot of a part of this station in composition with a residential building in the background and part of a bush on the left. Then we have the Barrancas de Belgrano square in front of the station, which is one of my favorites in the area, because there is a lot of vegetation, it is extensive, the urban view is impressive and it is ideal to spend a sunny afternoon.

! [Spanish Version] En ésta primera serie de tres fotos nos vamos al barrio de Belgrano y podemos observar la estación de tren 'Belgrano C", en cercanías con el barrio chino. Es una estación muy interesante y atractiva que parece un túnel, bueno en realidad lo es... con un cielo nublado y personas sentadas alrededor y otras formando fila mientras esperan el bus de su preferencia.
Decidí tomas además una foto en contrapicado de una parte de ésta estación en composición con un edificio residencial de fondo y parte de un arbusto a la izquierda. Después tenemos la plaza de Barrancas de Belgrano que se encuentra en frente de la estación, el cual es uno de mis favoritos de la zona, pues hay muchísima vegetación, es extenso, la vista urbana es impresionante y es ideal para pasar una tarde soleada.

In this second series I make a mix, where we appreciate another part of the aforementioned square but from another area, taking advantage of another point of light where I got much more contrast, buildings on the right side and a tree in the middle.

For the next photo we went back to the neighborhood of San Nicolas and observed two important structures in the area, modern buildings that are not really in this neighborhood but in Puerto Madero, I think one is the naval prefecture and obviously the other belongs to the state oil company YPF.

The next shot is quite interesting, it is the entrance to Chinatown, there you can see the structure that welcomes the small neighborhood and the photo was taken under the tunnel that is the station 'Belgrano C'.

! [Spanish Version] En ésta segunda serie hago un mix, en dónde apreciamos otra parte de la plaza anteriormente mencionada pero desde otra zona, aprovechando otro punto de luz donde obtuve mucho más contraste, edificios de lado derecho y un árbol en medio.
Para la siguiente fotos nos regresamos al barrio de San Nicolás y observamos dos estructuras importantes de la zona, edificios modernos que en realidad no están en este barrio sino en Puerto Madero, creo que uno es de la prefectura naval y obviamente el otro pertenece a la empresa petrolífera estatal YPF.
La próxima toma, es bastante interesante, se trata de la entrada al barrio chino, allí pueden observar la estructura que da la bienvenida al pequeño barrio y la foto la tomé debajo del túnel que es la estación 'Belgrano C'.

Here are two bonus photos of the building where the city's stock exchange is located in the neighborhood of San Nicolás and a general, more open view of the Barrancas de Belgrano park.

In this way I conclude this black and white tour through two neighborhoods of the city of Buenos Aires, being my entry for the monomad challenge and hoping that it will be to the liking of many.
