Elephants of the Ecopark | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]
Since I made my last visit to the Buenos Aires ecological park or Ecoparque I have been sharing several photos of that moment. As I mentioned before I was lucky enough to see other animals waiting to be transferred to another place and among them were the two elephants that in previous visits were not allowed access. The truth is that I had never photographed an elephant before, and although they were far away I was lucky to have the 70-300mm lens.
I really don't know if this is one of the animals waiting to be transferred or if they are among those that remain in the care of this new park due to health issues. The truth is that they belong to the old Buenos Aires Zoo and I can give that opinion because I notice that they are quite old.
Desde que hice mi última visita al parque ecológico de Buenos Aires o Ecoparque he estado compartiendo diversas fotos de ese momento. Cómo mencioné anteriormente tuve la suerte de ver otros animales de los que esperan por ser trasladados o otro lugar y entre ellos estaban los dos elefantes que en las visitas anteriores no estaba permitido el acceso. La verdad nunca había fotografiado un elefante, y aunque estaban muy lejos tuve la suerte de tener el lente 70-300mm.
La verdad no sé si este sea uno de los animales que esperan por traslados o están entre los que permanecen en cuidado de este nuevo parque por temas de salud. Lo cierto es que pertenecen al antiguo zoológico de Buenos Aires y puedo dar esa opinión porque noto que tienen una edad bastante avanzada.
I really liked that the space where they meet gave me a certain advantage to compose images of this animal, between light and shadow, creating interesting contrasts and bringing out the details. Although, now that I think about it I should have taken some pictures of both elephants together (I don't know why I didn't).
However, I was able to take several photos from different angles, while they were holding their trunks to their mouths, while they were eating, walking and going through their space in there.
Me gustó mucho que el espacio donde se encuentran me daba cierta ventaja para componer imágenes sobre este animal, entre luces y sombras, creando así contrastes interesantes y logrando resaltar los detalles. Aunque, ahora que lo pienso debí haber tomado algunas fotos de ambos elefantes juntos (no sé por qué no lo hice).
Sin embargo, pude tomar varias fotos desde diferentes ángulos, mientras se llevaba la trompa a la boca, mientras comían, caminaban y recorrían su espacio allí dentro.

Elephants are smart animals, they have big brains, maybe it's true that they're waiting to be moved, and yeah your 70-300mm lens is really cool.

Antes de leer parte de tu párrafo mencionando que los elefantes tenían una edad muy avanzada, yo había pensado lo mismo.
Es que se nota a simple vista, sus arrugas son más pronunciadas y también les cuelga parte de su piel. Sin embargo, son animales increíbles y hermosos también a mi parecer.
