Monomad | Historical Monuments in Monochrome [ENG/ESP]
This post is dedicated to photographs of national historical monuments of Buenos Aires in monochrome or black and white style. Buildings and works of relevant importance in terms of their functionalities, architectures, histories and more. I will mention at least 4 structures.
They are the best examples of the city where 3 of them are located in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires which would be the federal capital and one of them located in the province of Buenos Aires south zone, a little further away but surrounding the same capital.
We can start with the great Palacio Barolo Tours which is located in the neighborhood of Monserrat, a work that was made based on the work the divine comedy of Dante Alighieri and all its structures, divisions and sections are described in relation to this work.
Este post está dedicado a fotografías de monumentos históricos nacionales de Buenos Aires en el estilo monocromatico o blanco y negro. Edificios y obras de relevante importancia en cuanto a sus funcionalidades, arquitecturas , historias y más. Mencionaré al menos 4 estructuras.
Son los mejores ejemplares de la ciudad donde 3 de ellos están ubicados en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires que sería capital federal y uno de ellos ubicado en la provincia de Buenos Aires zona sur, un poco más alejado pero rodeando la misma capital.
Podemos empezar por el gran Palacio Barolo Tours que está ubicado en el barrio de Monserrat, obra que se realizó basándose en la obra la divina comedia de Dante Alighieri y todas sus estructuras, divisiones y secciones están descritas en relación a esta obra.
On the other hand we have the great congress of the Argentine nation, eclectic building with Greco-Roman mixtures of governmental use located in the neighborhood of Monserrat in the same way and is one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, more striking and more crowded in political and social issues, since it is there where all the proposed laws are defined and approved.
Its dome is considered the most beautiful of all the domes of different buildings. It is an architectural work inaugurated in 1906 with an area of almost 40,000 square meters.
Por otra parte tenemos al gran congreso de la nación argentina, edificio ecléctico con mezclas grecorromanas de uso gubernamental ubicado en el barrio de Monserrat de igual manera y es unos de los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad, más llamativos y más concurrido en temas políticos y sociales, ya que es allí donde se definen y aprueban todas las leyes propuestas.
Su cupula es considerada la más hermosa de todas las cúpulas de diferentes edificios. Es una obra arquitectónica inaugurada en el año 1906 con una superficie de casi 40.000 metros cuadrados.
In the third place we have to describe a little bit the palace of running waters of the Balvanera neighborhood. A palace that caused a lot of controversy for the fact of having dedicated the realization of a palace to a warehouse with water tanks. For this warehouse is the one that distributes running water to the city and is built with imported materials.
Work dating from 1887, popular for its beautiful facade, I was fortunate to live very close to this and other works to which I have been able to access and others not so much. A curious fact about this work is that inside there is a clandestine library that very few people know about.
En el tercer lugar tenemos que describir un poco al palacio de aguas corrientes del barrio Balvanera. Un palacio que causó mucha controversia por el hecho de haber dedicado la realización de un palacio a un almacén con tanques de agua. Pues este almacén es el que distribuye agua corriente a la ciudad y está construido con materiales importados.
Obra que data del año 1887, popular por su hermosa fachada, tuve la suerte de vivir muy cerca de esta y otras obras a las cuales he podido acceder y otras no tanto. Un dato curioso de ésta obra es que en su interior se encuentra una biblioteca clandestina de la que muy pocas personas conocen.
And finally, a couple of selective photographs of the Tigre Art Museum, a neoclassical building built by the Argentine bourgeoisie in the early 1900's for their amusement, where casinos and entertainment centers, game rooms, etc. operated, and now houses works of art by different artists of the country.
Located in the northern area of the province of Buenos Aires in the town called Tigre, it is one of the main attractions of the city.
I had the initiative to make this post with these structures or buildings that are national historical monuments because I was struck by the aesthetics they have in this photographic style and the details that demarcate each of the works.
Y para finalizar un par de selectivas fotografías del museo de arte Tigre, edificio neoclasico construido por la burguesía argentina de principios de 1900 para su diversión dónde funcionaban casinos y centros de distracción, salas de juegos, etc y ahora alberga obras de arte de distintos artistas del país.
Ubicado en la zona norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires en la localidad llamada Tigre, es uno de los mayores atractivos de la ciudad.
Tuve la iniciativa de hacer este post con éstas estructuras o edificios que son monumentos históricos nacionales porque me llamo la atención la estética que tienen en este estilo fotográfico y los detalles que demarcan en cada una de las obras.
