Moody Street Photography and a Wonderful Lookout Point [ENG/ESP]

A pleasure to walk around the city in search of attractive urban landscapes.

Greetings friends! I hope you are very well. Today I want to share a series of very recent photographs in which I look for a different point of view, highlighting the beautiful areas and corners of the city of Buenos Aires.

Saludos amigos! Espero estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero compartir una serie de fotografías muy recientes en las cuales busco un punto de vista diferente, destacando las hermosas zonas y rincones de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.

I have dedicated some time to make this selection so you can appreciate these images in different neighborhoods or locations.

In the first picture I show the passage of a person in front of the great brutalist style building that houses the mortgage bank of Buenos Aires, this is located in the neighborhood of San Nicolas and is a location often used for portrait photography for its aesthetics and surroundings.

He dedicado un poco de tiempo a hacer ésta selección para que puedan apreciar éstas imágenes en diferentes barrios o localidades.

En la primera fotografía muestro el paso de una persona frente al gran edificio de estilo brutalista que alberga el banco hipotecario de Buenos Aires, este se encuentra en el barrio de San Nicolás y es una locación bastante utilizada para fotografía de retratos por su estética y alrededores.

The following pictures were taken in the retiro neighborhood where I spend most of my time, you can see two of the big business buildings, giant towers characteristic of this area, I decided to take this shot from a separate street with a different angle where I expose these buildings in the background.

For the third photograph of this series hidden between corners I captured the famous dome of the Bencich building located in the San Nicolas neighborhood also making this image something different and not taking a common photo of this building.

Las siguientes fotografías fueron tomadas en el barrio de retiro donde pase el mayor tiempo, pueden observar dos de los grandes edificios empresariales, torre gigantes características de esta zona, decidí hacer esta toma desde una calle separada con un ángulo diferente dónde exponga estos edificios al fondo.

Para la tercera fotografías de esta serie oculto entre esquinas capturé la famosa cúpula del edificio Bencich ubicada en el barrio de San Nicolás también haciendo de esta imagen algo distinta y no tomando una foto común de este edificio.

While walking through the retiro neighborhood I saw the Torre Monumental or Torre de los Ingleses and decided to pay another visit.

In this tower there is a wonderful viewpoint on the sixth floor that allows us to see the city from the heights and be able to take some interesting and attractive shots even when the day was cloudy. However, being at the top I waited a bit as it seemed that the weather was about to improve and at least the sky could have more blue tones. It did indeed 🙂

Mientras caminaba por el barrio de retiro ví la torre monumental o torre de los ingleses y decidí hacer una nueva visita.

En esta torre se encuentra un maravilloso mirador en el sexto piso que nos permite ver la ciudad desde las alturas y poder hacer algunas tomas interesantes y atractivas incluso cuando el día estaba nublado. Sin embargo estando arriba espere un poco ya que parecía que el clima estaba a punto de mejorar y al menos podría el cielo tener más tonos azules. Fue así efectivamente 🙂
