On August 26, 1968, The Beatles' single "Hey Jude" was released for the first time in the USA [ENG/ESP]
Greetings friends! Today I want to take the opportunity and dedicate this post to the single "Hey Jude" by the English band The Beatles, a song that was released for the first time in the United States on a day like today 54 years ago. A song that moved the whole world and became an anthem for this amazing band. Song that was produced under the record label Apple Records and produced by George Martin belonging to the compilation album called The Beatles Again.

Hoy quiero aprovechar la oportunidad y dedicar este post al single "Hey Jude" de la banda inglesa The Beatles, sigle que fue lanzado por primera vez en Estados Unidos un día como hoy hace 54 años. Un tema que conmovió al mundo entero y se convirtió en un himno para esta asombrosa banda. Canción que fue producida bajo el sello discográfico de Apple Records y producido por George Martin perteneciente al álbum recopilatorio llamado The Beatles Again.
The single was composed by Paul McCartney and dedicated to John Lennon's son when he was going through a very difficult time where his parents were separating, in principle the name of the song would be "Hey Jules" but due to phonetic issues he did not like that S at the end, then he decided to change the name to "Hey Jude".
This is a song that has a duration of just over 7 minutes and was much discussed by the producer as he raised to the band the fact that on the radio did not pass songs as long as that, however many already know how was the egocentrism of John Lennon 😅 who responded that the song was going to pass on the radio because it was theirs.
El single fue compuesto por Paul Mccartney y dedicado al hijo de John Lennon cuando pasaba por un momento muy difícil en dónde sus padres se estaban separando, en principio el nombre de la canción sería "Hey Jules" pero por temas de fonética no le agradaba mucho esa S al final, entonces fue cuando decidió cambiar el nombre por "Hey Jude".
Éste es un tema que tiene una duración de poco más de 7 minutos y fue muy discutida por el productor ya que planteó a la banda el hecho de que en la radio no pasaban canciones tan largas como esa, sin embargo ya muchos conocemos como era el egocentrismo de John Lennon 😅 quién respondió que la canción la iban a pasar en la radio porque era de ellos.
This gem quickly became one of the band's hits, although we know that The Beatles wrote some pretty filthy ballads, but this one was unique. They hired a group of 36 people to record the famous final part (na naa naa naaa na na na na na naa na na) and to clap along, plus they were in the music video. So it was really magical, as Paul McCartney described it in an interview.
The personal feeling when I heard this song for the first time was amazing and it didn't leave my mind for many days where I kept repeating the final part of the chorus. As a musician it inspired me to learn to play it on acoustic guitar.

Ésta joya se convirtió rápidamente en uno de los hits de la banda, si bien conocemos The Beatles compusieron inmunerables baladas pero ésta fue única. Contrataron a un grupo de 36 personas para grabar la famosa parte final (na naa naaa na na naa na) y para que aplaudieran, además estuvieron en el videoclip. Así que fue realmente mágico, como lo describió Paul Mccartney en una entrevista.
La sensación personal cuando escuché éste tema por primera vez fue alucinante y no se despegó de mi mente por muchos días en dónde a cada momento repetía la parte final del coro. Cómo músico fue inspiración para aprender a tocarla en la guitarra acústica.
