Some Portraits in the Living Room | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]

I'm not sure what takes me more time or work in photography when it comes to portraits, the sessions specifically or the post-production... I think the second one, many times I get saturated while I'm editing and after a few minutes I look at what I've done and I don't agree with the values I've given to certain photos, then I do a re-edit and this can even last for days.

It can happen when I edit in colour or black and white and in the case of this set of portraits that we did in the living room of this mansion, it has cost me a bit, maybe I don't have the same proactivity as other days or maybe I'm a bit tired, I can't figure it out yet.

However here are the final results, which I think are the most appropriate in relation to my tastes and preferences obviously.

During the time we were here we tried to do or rather we did several tests with different costumes in different spaces of the room, we obviously used everything we could of the real estate that the location offered us and we worked very comfortably, it is simply beautiful to work with Odemara and to be able to create in this style of portraits, although both she and I are very demanding with ourselves and from 100 photos in a row sometimes we choose less than 20 😅

I think these might be some of the ones we liked the most and it's a pleasure for me to share them with you too as my entry for the monomad challenge today. I hope you liked them 🙂

No estoy seguro de que me toma más tiempo o trabajo en la fotografía cuando se trata de retratos, las sesiones específicamente o la postproducción... creo que la segunda, muchas veces me saturo mientras estoy editando y luego de unos minutos observo lo que he hecho y ya no estoy muy de acuerdo con los valores que he dado a ciertas fotos, entonces hago una reedición y esto puede durar incluso días.

Puede suceder cuando edito en colores o en blanco y negro y para el caso de éste set de retratos que hicimos en la sala de ésta mansión, me ha costado un poco, quizás no tengo la misma proactividad que otros días o quizás estoy algo cansado, no lo puedo descifrar aún.

Sin embargo acá están los resultados finales, los cuales creo que son los más adecuados en relación a mis gustos y preferencias obviamente.

Durante el tiempo que estuvimos acá intentamos hacer o mejor dicho hicimos varias pruebas con diferentes vestuarios en diferentes espacios de la sala, usamos obviamente todo lo que pudimos del inmobiliario que la locación nos ofrecía y trabajamos muy cómodos, es sencillamente hermoso trabajar con Odemara y poder crear en este estilo de retratos, aunque tanto ella como yo somos muy exigentes con nosotros mismos y de 100 fotos en ocasiones seguidas elegimos menos de 20 😅

Creo que estás pueden ser algunas de las que más nos han gustado y es un placer para mí compartirlas con ustedes también como mi entrada para el reto monomad el día de hoy. Espero que les hayan gustado 🙂
