Traffic, Lines and Birds - Monomad Challenge.

Traffic, Lines and Birds.

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share with you some photos that I selected especially for black and white. They are photos I took from the balcony, some of these photos are in my previous post. When I take photos I have two types of purposes, I think about which photos will be in color and then I spend time on my black and white photos. For me, the latter have specific concepts and compositions, I can say that they take more work and are the best for me.

These types of images are more expressive, I think. The details are better appreciated and you can play a lot with contrasts, shadows and lights.

These were some of the shots that I dedicated time to for this version, emphasizing the lines of this avenue. I am referring to the pedestrian crossing, the symbols, arrows, while this complements the rush hour traffic. Those people crossing give it an interesting touch.

I like this shot a lot. I can see three lines there, while the motorized one is moving. At first I thought he was a delivery man but after looking closely I realized he wasn't. He even has a high displacement motorcycle.

I could have straightened the photo but this time I wanted the result like this, tilted so that I could include the full lines.

I wasn't sure about including this photo because the bike is out of focus but for some reason it catches my attention regardless.

Another crooked photo? yes, it was the idea for this kind of shots 😄

This is a photo that is out of the previous series. It was in the Puerto Madero neighborhood, it was a public street cleaning employee. Although it was taken in a different place, it has in common those lines that I mentioned at the beginning, I also love the large amount of bush that can be seen in the background.

During that walk in Puerto Madero I took this couple of photos of these small animals. Birds are very common to see here, it seemed like a good idea to also save them for a black and white version.

What do you think about these shots? Did you like some of them? Let me know in the comments :)

It is undoubtedly a city in constant movement and chaos, perfect for photography.
