Visiting the Centennial Bridget of Villa Carlos Paz, Cordoba, Argentina [ENG/ESP]
Greetings guys! Last week I was on vacation and made a family trip to the province of Cordoba and I was visiting beautiful places, towns, cities and mountains. This time I share with you my visit to the centenary bridge of Villa Carlos Paz, a city located in the west of this province.
This bridge is a very notorious attraction and became a new icon of the city, it was inaugurated in December 2019. A pedestrian suspension bridge located over the San Antonio river.
Saludos chicos!
This is a side view of the suspension bridge, photograph taken with 18-55mm kit lens.
People crossing the bridge on a semi cloudy afternoon one might say. The bridge is located in the center of the city and is a meeting place for many people.
A picturesque bridge just over 70 meters long and 13 meters high but with an interesting architecture and quality engineering work. When I saw it I quickly related it to the Puente de la Mujer, a suspension bridge located in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, where I live, because it has a similar design.
As I passed by the bridge I stopped for a few minutes to admire the structure and take a couple of pictures. I could not miss this emblematic icon of the city.
This type of structure beautifies the cities and creates more influx of tourists in addition to providing much value in terms of architecture. The times I passed by the bridge I did not see it empty, besides.... It is a place where you can practice fishing in its surroundings.
I also saw boats taking rides, people sitting on the banks of the river right next to the bridge and it is surrounded by several restaurants, bars and facilitates access between avenues. I could say that it is a city quite similar to Mar del Plata, although smaller.
What do you think of this suspension bridge? Attractive icon of the city Villa Carlos Paz in the province of Cordoba? Look at this photo as can be seen in the background the landscape with some mountains 😍 if you liked it do not hesitate to leave me a comment and tell me what you thought 😊
