Wednesday's Walk at Chacabuco Park [ENG/ESP]
Greetings friends! Today I want to share with you a little walk I did in the neighborhood of Caballito and I visited a well-known park that I have been wanting to visit for a few months since it is relatively close to my workplace. Parque Chacabuco, is a park that bears that name because the area is known as such, however the neighborhood is the one I mentioned above.
Saludos amigos! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una pequeña caminata que realicé en el barrio de Caballito y visité un conocido parque que ya desde hace unos meses quería conocer ya que queda relativamente cerca de mi lugar de trabajo. Parque Chacabuco, es un parque que lleva ese nombre porque la zona es conocida así sin embargo el barrio es el que anteriormente mencioné.
It is an attractive place to go for a walk, sunbathe when the weather allows us to do so and at the same time do some physical activity. Although it is not the most beautiful park in the city, it attracts a lot of attention because of the area in which it is located, being one of the largest parks in the surrounding area.
It has an extensive running track and people come here to walk, jog or run, it is also very striking for the church of important size and significant architecture known as the church of Parque Chacabuco. It is something quite rural I would say, however I could notice that it also has a swimming pool that I imagine works in the summer season.
Un sitio atractivo para ir de paseo, tomar un poco de sol cuando el clima nos permite hacerlo y a la vez hacer un poco de actividad física. Si bien no es el parque más lindo de la ciudad, llama mucho la atención por la zona en la que se ubica siendo uno de los parques más grandes en los alrededores.
Tiene una extensa pista para carreras y las personas vienen acá a caminar, trotar o correr, además es muy llamativa por la iglesia de tamaño importante y de significativa arquitectura conocida como la iglesia de parque Chacabuco. Es algo bastante rural diría yo sin embargo pude notar que tiene además una piscina que funciona imagino yo en la temporada de verano.
It is divided between a sports center and the park as such that offers us a nice garden full of many flowers of different species which we can enjoy, do sports activities like soccer or just come to hang out, walk their pets, some picnic, breathe fresh air and admire both what is in the park and the surroundings. Se divide entre un polideportivo y el parque como tal que nos ofrece un lindo jardín lleno de muchas flores de distintas especies de las cuales podemos disfrutar, realizan actividades deportivas como el fútbol o simplemente vienen a pasar el rato, pasear a sus mascotas, algo de picnic, respirar aire fresco y admirar tanto lo que se encuentra en el parque y los alrededores.
