[ESP | ENG] Super Bowl LV: The Weeknd
Buenas buenas, gente bonita hoy quiero hablar de algo que mencioné en mi post sobre el Super Bowl LV, si no lo han leído los invito quedó muy interesante. Hoy les hablare de la presentación que tuvo ese evento en su medio tiempo que estuvo en manos de The Weeknd.
Good morning, beautiful people, today I want to talk about something I mentioned in my post about the Super Bowl LV, if you haven't read it I invite you to read it, it was very interesting. Today I will talk about the presentation that had that event in its halftime that was in the hands of The Weeknd.
Ya sabemos quien ganó en el partido, ya mencioné mi opinión sobre como fue el juego, ahora viene el otro tema que fue tendencia ese día del Super Bowl, la presentación de The Weeknd, pues muchos utilizaron la palabra "floja" para describir su presentación.
Ahora, este mi opinión, en realidad nadie tiene la verdad absoluta sobre esto, pero igual quiero dar mi punto a ver que opinan ustedes :D.
We already know who won the game, I already mentioned my opinion about the game, now comes the other topic that was trending that day of the Super Bowl, The Weeknd's performance, many people used the word "lazy" to describe his performance.
Now, this is my opinion, actually nobody has the absolute truth about this, but I still want to give my point to see what you think :D.
Mi opinión sobre esta presentación es que de verdad siento que fue excelente... NO ME GOLPEEN NO ME GRITEN AAAAHHH ... ah no, esto no es twitter jejeje. Bueno ya en serio, si me gustó la presentación pero noté 2 cosas que quiero mencionar que podría ser la "justificación" de que la gente llamara a esta presentación "floja".
Empecemos diciendo que de verdad últimamente he notado como la gente se queja POR TODO "nada es como antes", bueno eso es OBVIO porque estamos en 2021 y 2001 ya pasó, entonces al ver las quejas y comentarios negativos hacia la presentación de él solo hizo reirme, recordarme que "quejarse esta de moda" lastimosamente, y simplemente ver el show y tener mi propia opinión.
My opinion about this presentation is that I really feel that it was excellent.... DON'T HIT ME DON'T YELL AT ME AAAAHHH ... oh, this is not twitter hehehehe. Seriously though, I did like the presentation but I noticed 2 things that I want to mention that could be the "justification" for people calling this presentation "lazy".
Let's start by saying that lately I've really noticed how people complain about EVERYTHING "nothing is like before", well that's OBVIOUS because it's 2021 and 2001 is over, so seeing the complaints and negative comments towards his presentation just made me laugh, remind me that "complaining is fashionable" unfortunately, and just watch the show and have my own opinion.
1ero: Yo no conozco mucho de la música de este artista, excepto la última que la he escuchado en TODOS lados y de verdad es muy buena, el yo no conocerlo mucho pudo hacer que casi no disfrutara el evento.
2do: Discutiéndolo con @ilazramusic, que sí conoce y sigue su música, su estilo en la mayoría de sus canciones son "disfrutables y suaves", para momentos tranquilos que no necesitas saltar o gritar, bueno... eso en un Super Bowl no combina, porque ya el medio tiempo de un Super Bowl siempre es recordado por el gran animo y ganas de gritar y bailar que da.
1st: I don't know much of this artist's music, except for the last one which I've heard EVERYWHERE and it's really very good, the fact that I don't know much about him may have made me almost not enjoy the event.
2nd: Discussing it with @ilazramusic, who does know and follow his music, his style in most of his songs are "enjoyable and soft", for quiet moments that you don't need to jump or scream, well... that in a Super Bowl does not combine, because the halftime of a Super Bowl is always remembered for the great mood and desire to scream and dance that it gives.
Me enfrascaré un poco más en el segundo punto, porque es el que me hizo dar la respuesta más convincente para mi. The Weekend es un artista que canta muy bien y tiene un concepto para su música muy interesante, su último album llamó mucho la atención por eso, pero no es el tipo de música que se esta acostumbrado a disfrutar en un espectáculo de medio tiempo en un Super Bowl, estamos acostumbrados a ESCANDALO, un ejemplo perfecto fue el año pasado con Shakira y Jlo.
I will focus a little more on the second point, because it is the one that made me give the most convincing answer for me. The Weekend is an artist that sings very well and has a very interesting concept for his music, his last album got a lot of attention because of that, but it's not the kind of music you are used to enjoy in a halftime show at a Super Bowl, we are accustomed to LOUD NOISE, a perfect example was last year with Shakira and Jlo.
Si toda esa presentación, hubiera sido solamente un concierto de él, para promocionar su disco o por cualquier motivo de él, hubiera sido una presentación ESPECTACULAR, digna para disfrutar cada canción de él, pero no fue así era una presentación para el medio tiempo de uno de los partidos más importantes de USA... Repito, me gustó mucho la presentación, pero de verdad no creo que haya sido una preparación para un Super Bowl y por eso no logró destacar de como hicieron los años anteriores.
If that whole presentation had been just a concert of his, to promote his album or for any reason of his, it would have been a SPECTACULAR presentation, worthy to enjoy every song of his, but it was not like that, it was a presentation for the halftime of one of the most important games in the USA... I repeat, I really liked the performance, but I really don't think it was a preparation for a Super Bowl and that's why it didn't stand out from the way they did the previous years.
Eso fue todo por hoy :D, de verdad que me gustó la presentación pero... 🤷♀ ¿Qué opinan?
