Character review: Hyōga of Cygnus from Saint Seiya
Happy Wednesday, dear friends. I'm here once again. I'm talking about my favorite characters from those anime series that shaped my childhood. For now, I'm watching Seiya. And I've already told you a little about Seiya and Shiryu, very brave boys who hold a significant value for many of us who spent part of our childhood watching them. Today, I want to talk about Hyōga, my third favorite knight. I want to digress, and this is something a user also shared with me. I feel like all their personalities are similar. Of course, each one has a different story, but their ideals and virtues may have some similarities. But what I'm sure of is that they all strive for the same ideal: justice.
To get to the point, Hyōga is a swan, and he comes from Siberia, because as we all know these gentlemen come from different places in the world, he has a very deep pain since he lost his mother as a child, and who doesn't remember that scene at the bottom of the sea where his mother lies and the emblematic song that we all love plays, the fact is that he is very marked by this fact and with good reason the most important person in his life has left.
His personality is cold but ultimately he has a very warm heart and is committed to justice and his character is key in everything, of course like everyone else he has his inner struggle, he is always thirsty for revenge for the irreparable loss of his mother and somehow throughout the series he learns to channel this hatred and resentment to do good and take care of his friends and the weakest.
Despite having that struggle between doing good and taking revenge, he managed to find a balance in those who became his best friends. His cold, warrior spirit becomes more compassionate, and he gradually leaves behind the pain that ultimately harms him. He is an example of how happiness can be found despite coming from a very dark time in life. By the way, I love this knight; his power to manipulate ice, diamond dust, and the aurora ray were truly some of the things I was most excited to see. On top of that, he becomes the knight of Aquarius, a sign of life. And what do you think of this knight?

Hyoga the cold character that did a little dance to launch his attack ajja, I remember when I saw his attacks even as a child I said to myself, he does too many maneuvers haha, he is not one of my favorite knights until he battles with Camus, uuuuff there if this character took more power and presence he deserved
Something funny is that he and Shun have a moment too secret in the mountain haha but otherwise it is a good character with good climax moments 😃

What a great way to tell Hyōga's story! I've never seen the anime, but everything you shared made me want to get to know her. I was really drawn to the contrast between her cold personality and her warm heart... it sounds like a very deep character.
