一探樂高玩樂城 / A Look Around the LEGO Fun City
某天，我又閒逛到一個熟悉的老地方，某個百貨商場的戶外廣場，因為這裡可以遠遠地拍到台北101大樓的全景，所以常常會遊客在這裡逗留或拍照，我猜可能是有不少旅行部落客或是旅行類網紅分享這個地點，要不然這個地點怎麼會這麼多人在此拍照，特別是那些看起來就不像是本地人的遊客，本地人根本就對台北101大樓已經見怪不怪，想當然耳，很少會來此取景。
不過，這次重遊這個我常來的老地方，發現樂高積木（LEGO）在這裡有活動，活動主題為「開啟玩樂模式」，主要是為了讓孩童能體驗樂高積木，設有三道關卡，分別是節奏能量站、足球競技場及創建未來城，透過拼接積木或放置積木至正確定點來通關，闖關就可以拿到手搖扇，獎品對我吸引力不高，我認為對成年人的吸引力不高，不過，孩童只要可以玩樂，就有興趣，而看著別人闖關也蠻好玩的。
而樂高商店販賣的商品，對我來說，光看不買也很有趣，我猜，最知名的應該是樂高®星際大戰系列，那些用積木拼接的飛船與經典戰役，讓人看的驚嘆不已，而樂高®建築系列則用積木還原世界各地著名地標，讓人看得又驚又嘆， 我之前沒注意到，原來樂高積木也可以用來作為居家裝飾，那些用積木拼接的花束或盆栽，不但可以營造居家氛圍，增添童趣，還不需要費心照料，不知不覺間，我已經在樂高商店內把玩了一個多小時了，樂高商店還真是個殺時間的好地方。
One day, I found myself wandering back to a familiar old spot—the outdoor plaza of a department store. You can get a great full view of Taipei 101 from there, so there are often tourists hanging around and taking photos. I guess quite a few travel bloggers or travel influencers have shared this spot online. Otherwise, why would so many people come here just to take pictures? Especially since many of them clearly don't look like locals. For people who live here, Taipei 101 is nothing special anymore. We see it all the time, so naturally, we don't usually come here just to take pictures of it.
Anyway, when I revisited this familiar place, I noticed that LEGO was holding an event there. The theme was “Turn on the Fun,” and it was mainly designed to let kids experience playing with LEGO bricks. There were three challenges: a Rhythm Energy Station, a Soccer Challenge, and a Build the Future City station. Participants had to put LEGO bricks together or place them in the right spots to complete each challenge. Once they finished all three, they could get a handheld fan as a prize. To be honest, the prize wasn't very appealing to me, and I don't think it would attract many adults either. But for kids, as long as they get to play, they're interested. Even just watching other kids complete the challenges was pretty entertaining.
As for the products in the LEGO store, I find it fun just to look around without actually buying anything. I guess one of the most famous collections has to be LEGO® Star Wars. Seeing all those spaceships and classic battle scenes recreated with LEGO bricks is really impressive. The LEGO® Architecture series is also fascinating, with famous landmarks from around the world recreated entirely with LEGO bricks. It's amazing to see how much detail they can create with such simple little pieces. I hadn't really noticed before, but LEGO bricks can also be used as home decorations. There are LEGO flower bouquets and potted plants that can add a little fun and personality to your home. And the best part is, you don't have to water them or take care of them! Before I knew it, I'd already spent more than an hour playing around in the LEGO store. A LEGO store really is a great place to kill some time.
