Amorphophallus Natolii: A Tuberous Herbaceous Plant - An Endangered Species

avatar

I was watering the plants this afternoon when I noticed a rare plant that grows with a somewhat reddish blossom. When I went back inside the house I check on my father's book of rare plants and I found out that this is known to occur in the limestone hills in Asia and Africa. This species is listed as Critically Endangered because of its very limited area of occurrence.

There are many of them in my garden. I wonder how it thrives there. Nevertheless, I am happy that an endangered species kind of plant has blossomed. 🌷💕

I am so elated to have this in my garden @luvinlyf but it easily withers after a few hours it flushes its loveliness. It's similar to the Queen of the Nights Fairy.🤔
