My Breathtaking #WednesdayWalk That Makes Me Smile

How's everyone? I haven't posted on the community in a while, so this is my debut doing so.

One of my best friends invited me to go for a brisk walk and to visit a plant and flower vendor near our place as she is planning to redesign her garden. It was sunny this morning and the wind was cool. The brilliant light of the day shines, lifting my spirits with its boldness and seeing a towering pink bougainvillaea as if dancing its way while a melodious Christmas carol played along. I said to myself, BER months have started and I can already hear Jose Mari Chan's famous Christmas carol "Christmas In Our Hearts" (a Filipino Artist who is well known for his Christmas carols).

I like how crisp the air in the morning is, after stormy weather. I am endowed today, catching a glimpse of these flowers and nature's graffiti cheering on me. Just like the birds of paradise and butterfly plants that sway while the morning breeze gently smacks their blossoms and leaves.

The blossom of the anthuriums, David-like sunflowers and other kinds of blossoms spread out as if each flower was a book that was more sculpted than written, the lovely hues infusing into the petals to grant them their delicate brilliance. It is a myth of aeons passed, of the loving maintenance of the soils, the downpour and the sun, a story of the insects, the soil bacteria and fungi. And yet, for all of that, it is a great love story meant in its silent manner, the brain reading such significance in a moment of impulse, a speck of a beautiful moment like the stunning hibiscus.

The delicate blossoms of African daisies, the proud bromeliads and the spiky succulents promise their multicoloured ornament on Earth in either sunshine or rain, and the Vanda Sanderianas and Dendrobium orchids of fresh natural beauty invite smiles on the lips.

While on the site, I snapped a photo of the enthralling peaks of Mts. Banahaw and San Cristobal may be seen, as well as a sea of golden rice fields and cotton-like clouds. Mt. Maria Makiling is veiled in clouds on the right side, so I asked the caretaker to take a photo of me and my friend there as well.

The walk nourished me with a refreshing sensation as it is also a form of conditioning for a busybody like me.
Along the way home I also took a snap of the sunny yellow bells that brought a smile to my lips.😊

When I stepped inside the house, my son was still dozing. I prepared fried rice and hot and spicy cubed chicken that I marinated the night before and prepped shortly before heading out for my morning #WednesdayWalk.
