My Life Journey Has Turned Another Leaf As I Celebrate My 62nd Birthday 💖🌷

Who is the silver-slate lady? I have achieved the Certified Senior Citizen title. That implies more wrinkles on my brow and a platinum-colored mane on my head. Furthermore, I have been a PWD (Person With Discounts) member for two years. I have reaped the benefits of being a citizen of this country and having served for several years.

All that exists here are wrinkles covering a timeless spirit, a piece of me that has never aged. The legs may desire, but the eyes continue to bounce. My rough hands were masterpieces, created over a lifetime of tough and realistic love. Only my thoughts are still capable of playing the role that my dreams formerly played. As much as it has always moved me, music is something I adore more than I have ever loved. The mileage of a vintage car is all that this skin speaks to you, so ignore it.

Even if old age had felt like a far-off place on an unexplored horizon, it eventually arrived as I continued to walk, just one step at a time. My hair is all shades of slate grey to fresh coins, the colour of silver in different phases of oxidation. My years of gentle nurturing shaped me into the person I am today; the silver-slate woman.

Growing older is a source of comfort, and I should treat it as such because not everyone is as healthy or as long-lived as I am when I reach this age.

As I become older, I become a gift to the young, a path of light for them to follow anytime they need it. I become the eye of every storm, the anchor of many vessels, and in good weather, I am the wind. My story unfolds go-between by page, and because I am so empathetic and cordial, it is a beautifully written story.

It was on this day 62 years ago that I first glimpsed the light of Earth. That I have made it thus far makes me glad. I am grateful to our Lord God for granting me another chapter in my life.

They say ageing has a division and people take either one path or the other. One takes the person onward to further maturity and an outward-facing mentality geared toward helping others.

It is a life path that makes the most of the experiences gained over the years, helping the next generation and the community. It brings us together, puts us together in loving relationships in others' lives and allows us to become a role model. Alam ko may purpose si Father God at may darating pang makabuluhan sa buhay ko.
