The Love Song Of A Beloved

I was having my "siesta time" and lying in bed, I seized notice of a piece of a familiar melody playing at the restaurant in front of the house. A melody that I avoided hearing for decades now because it rekindles sad memories of the past.

The song brought back a myriad of great memories to me. I got teary-eyed the moment I heard it. I am very miserable and so lost without Mitchel... I lost my sweet fiance to brain cancer. Left are the bitter-sweet memories of loss and tears of missing him each day. The type of love that will make it through even after the end of days. I will hold him dear Always and Forever. It healed my spirit fostered it to the very best and ushered me out of the unbearable memories!

Whenever we had misunderstandings, Mitchel would always sing the song and would begin to say a litany:

"You're my kind of forever, a quarter-mile at a time, (rewind, repeat). What else could eternity be? I come eternally yours, but if you disowned me for any reason or person, I can't return. That's the way it is. You are mending my heart and soul, but if you break it someone else has to mend it. I hope that explains it all because I love you so very much. My time and my love are all I have, they are both eternally yours if you want them. If any moment in time anchored my soul, creating a tether to this plane of reality, it was the moment I fell in love with you".

The song of love is the music of creation; it is made up of empathetically comforting words that refer to one's physical, mental, and spiritual union.

Tears trickled down my cheeks and wished that Mitchel was beside me listening to our love song. Reminiscing the happy times when we were together and with that thought, I fell into a deep slumber.
