RE: Platforms, Network Effects, And What Hive Is Missing

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

That's all fine and wonderful.

But:

Wouldn't it first of all make sense to ensure that:

  • your and every other post can be loaded from outside without repeated trying?
  • embedded images are still available years later?
  • that posts that are years old can be viewed just like in any blog space, even without an account?

And for newcomers:

  • that there is a guide to help and smooth out mistakes?
  • there is an independent mediation unit for disputes? One whose decisions are verifiable? One that helps newcomers and doesn't scare them away with Nazi methods?

And for all users:

  • that this simple and easy function is reintroduced, which shows how often each post has been opened and read, by people with and without an account? So, the standard of any social media platform?
  • that there is a wiki in which you can not only find current how-to's, but also every fork, special forms and frontends with all their peculiarities and tokens?
  • that every browser-integrated translator function also delivers a meaningful result? Some of your post with the German Google translation:

By the way, I couldn't reply to your post even though I was logged in because it didn't load properly, crashed 4 times and when it had loaded except for the profile pictures, the comment function was still blocked. I had to take the route via PeakD and the search function there, search for your name and then your post and then I was able to write these lines.

This platform is currently only suitable for generating money in the Circlevote business. It's not even suitable as a simple blogging platform because it's not permanent and is far too unstable for external views.

A lot to do before you can think about growing.
