Diy cherry ๐Ÿ’

Hello, Hi, Namaste to all HIVE users who have reached this post. I hope you are all doing great. Here I am sharing a cherry made using foam clay / air-dry clay.

Also, I wanted to share something with you - do you remember the rose bouquet I made a few days back?
So, I just inserted it in a keychain tightly and went to my college ( my mother told me not to insert it in a key ring it will not look good). While I was going to submit my assignment, someone just pulled the bouquet from the keyring and I realised it after coming out of the building that the keyring was empty. I am sure that someone pulled it because I attached it tightly and it couldn't fall by itself(though I still checked the area I went to, and still didn't find anything). I felt really bad and realised that I should have listened to my mom.

So, here are the steps of the cherry-

For making the base ( I mean the branch) I used metal bangles. Cut it into pieces and straighten it using pliers.

Then attached them together using fevibond.( It's a very strong glue)

After it is fixed properly, I started covering the above part using clay ( Used brown colour clay but it doesn't matter at all because I coloured it later).

Then coloured the bottom part with dark green (later on changed it to light green).

Made 2 balls using red clay and after drying attached them to the branch.

Then made leave and inserted a wire in it to so that it would be easy to attach to the branch.

After this I coloured the balls using red and the branch dark green.

Though I made 2 leaves but I attached just 1.

Also attached the leave and here the cherry was ready.

Hope you all liked it, do share your opinions with me.
Thank you for visiting my post ๐Ÿ˜Š
