Design on Canvas with Oil Painting inspired by "Spirit of the Forest" | week 278

Hello dear friends of Hive Diy, it's a pleasure to greet you. Today I want to present you the step by step of a fantastic creature from Splinterlands known as Spirit of the Forest a . This way I join the contest #278 organized by the Splinterlands community.

The truth is that I had a long time without drawing 😬 and although I prefer the charcoal technique because I master it a little more than painting in color, I have challenged myself 🫣 to illustrate the figure using oil paint.

The good news is that I have enjoyed it very much!

Materials used were as follows:

🎨 White banner fabric.
🎨 White, green, blue, yellow, yellow, red, brown, black and gold oil paint.
🎨 Brushes
🎨 Ruler
🎨 Pencil

Step by Step:

🎨 1

On the fabric we will place the center of this and we will make a cross with the pencil tilting a little its axes in relation to the center of the fabric. Once we have this cross we will begin to draw the nose on the vertical axis of the cross, then we make the silhouette of the face and then the lips, making the central area of the face coincide with the central axis of the lines.

Then we must draw the eyes of our lady of the forest, the eyelashes, the eyebrows and the hair.

We also draw the characteristic headband of the "Spirit of the Forest" card, the branches and the leaves coming out of her head.

Then we must apply a white base over our drawing, in order to bring light to the design.

In the background of the drawing we used black and white to obtain grayscale shades. We also painted the eyes red.

We painted both eyes red and then used two shades of green for the face, One dark and one lighter.

When we are painting we use the black tone for the contour of the face to create shadows.

We use the golden color to paint the hair, creating a golden base, we also take the opportunity to give shape and color to the branches and leaves to create the outfit of the head of our Spirit of the Forest.

We also designed the ears of the creature, using the same shades of green and black to fill the ears.

Then on the golden base that was on the. Abello, we paint this one in a light green color. Once we painted it green, we take a thin brush and with the golden paint we draw thin lines.

We paint the lips pink, combining red and white. Then we took black to paint the neck and also outline all the contour of the figure.

We also shaded the eyebrows with the gold and green paint, so we took the thin brush and drew slanted lines making the shape of the eyebrows.

Next I thought about changing the background of the design, so I chose blue to make the change and I feel it gave more visual color and prominence to our Spirit of the Forest.

This is the final result! The idea is to be able to hang it as a painting, so I'll come up with something to design it that way.

Hola queridos amigos de Hive Diy, es un gusto saludarles. El dia de hoy quiero presentarles el paso a paso de una criatura fantastica de Splinterlands conocida como Spirit of the Forest a . De esta forma me uno al concurso #278 organizado por la comunidad de Splinterlands .

La verdad tenia mucho tiempo sin dibujar 😬 y aunque prefiero la tecnica del carboncillo porque la domido un poco más que pintar a color , me he retado 🫣 a ilustrar la figura utilizando pintura de oleo.

La buena noticia es que lo he disfrutado muchisimo! 🤗

Los materiales utilizados fueron los siguientes:

🎨 Tela blanca de Pancarta
🎨 Pintura de óleo blanca, verde, azul, amarillo, rojo, marron, negro y dorado
🎨 Pinceles
🎨 Regla
🎨 Lapiz

Paso a Paso:

🎨 1

Sobre la tela ubicaremos el centro de esta y vamos a realizar una cruz con el lapiz inclinando un poco sus ejes en relacion al centro de la tela. Una vez que tengamos este cruce iniciaremos a dibujar la nariz en el eje vertical de la cruz realizada, seguidamente realizamos la silueta del rostro y luego los labios haciendo coincidir la zona central de este con el eje central de las líneas.

Luego debemos dibujar los ojos de nuestra dama del bosque, las pestañas , las cejas y el cabello.

Realizamos también la diadema característica de la carta "Spirit of the Forest" , las ramas y sus hojas salientes de su cabeza.

Luego debemos aplicar una base blanca sobre nuestro dibujo, con el propósito de brindar luz a el diseño.

El el fondo del dibujo utilizamos negro y blanco para obtener tonalidades en escala de grises. También pintamos de rojo los ojos.

Pintamos ambos ojos de rojo y luego utilizamos dos tonalidades de verde para el rostro, Uno oscuro y otro más claro.

Al momento de estar pintando utilizamos el tono negro para el contorno del rostro y de esta forma crear sombras.

Utilizamos el color dorado para pintar el cabello, creando una base dorada, también aprovechamos para ir dando forma y color a las ramas y hojas y crear así el atuendo de la cabeza de nuestra Spirit of the Forest

También diseñamps las orejas de la criatura.Utilizamos los mismos tonos de color verde y el negro para rellenar las orejas.

Luego sobre la base dorada que había sobre el. Abello, pintamos esta de un color verde claro. Una vez que lo pintamos de verde, tomamos un pincel delgado y con la pintura dorada trazamos líneas delgadas.

Pintamos lo labios de rosado, combinando el color rojo y el blanco. Luego tomamos negro para pintar el cuello y también delinear todo el contorno de la figura.

También matizados las cejas con la pintura dorada y la verde, de forma que tomamos el pincel delgado y dibujamos líneas inclinadas haciendo la forma de las cejas.

Luego pensé en cambiar el fondo del diseño, así que elegí el color azul para hacer el cambio y siento que le dio más color visual y protagonismo a nuestra Spirit of the Forest

Este es el resultado final! La idea es poder guindar como un cuadro, así que ya se me ocurrirá algo para poder diseñarlo se esa forma.
