¡Buonanotte a tutti a tutti!, el turno del AC Milan ha llegado; su temporada 2022-2023 ha dejado mucho que desear, especialmente en el ámbito local, ya que no pudo revalidar el titulo. A día de hoy, en el momento en que redacto estas líneas, momentos muy turbulentos se viven en las oficinas rossoneras. Los despidos de Maldini y Massara y la muy posible venta de Sandro Tonali al Newcastle llenan de incertidumbre el futuro del Milan. JUNIO/NOVIEMBRE: UN COMIENZO ESPERANZADOR Y UN PREAVISO DE LA DECADENCIA - JUNE/NOVEMBER: A HOPEFUL BEGINNING AND A FOREWARNING OF DECLINE.
Sassuolo 0 - 3 Milan, el equipo de Pioli levantaba el scudetto 11 años después del ultimo con Allegri en el banquillo y tras un periodo de transición un tanto lento y doloroso, el diabolo volvía a conquistar Italia con un DT que al momento de llegar cargaba en su haber mas derrotas que victorias, y con un estandarte como Ibrahimovic en ocasiones dentro del terreno y en otras fuera. La alegría y algarabía se traslado hacia los festejos que fueron épicos, bien justificados y merecidos, evidentemente.
Sin embargo de viejas glorias no se vive, y el equipo tendría que planificar la próxima temporada para defender el titulo como era debido. Cubrir las bajas de Kessie y Romagnoli no era sencillo, teniendo en cuenta la calidad de los nombrados y además, sin dinero en las arcas por sus salidas pues habían culminado sus contratos y se marcharon libres.
Bien sabido era que la situación económica del club gozaba de cierto saneamiento producto del gran trabajo de Gazidis mientras fue CEO del club. Y el ingreso que produjo el titulo de campeón daba cierto empuje para salir al mercado a reforzarse lo mejor posible. Nombres como Renato Sanchez, Botman y Noa Lang sonaban en los alrededores de Casa Milan. Y de cierta forma esperanzaban -incluida mi persona- a los hinchas rossoneros.
Sin embargo, las negociaciones por los susodichos no llegaron a buen puerto, y el Milan se quedaba sin reforzar mientras los rivales salían al mercado a conseguir mejoras para la plantilla.
Corrían las semanas y el mercado se terminaba, el Milan solo pudo conseguir a Charles de Ketalaere, un mediapunta Belga que había deslumbrado en su país natal. Por una suma alta: 30 millones de euros. Era el único fichaje de la temporada, además de Origi, a coste 0 para la delantera y otros como Dest y Vranckx cuya participación a lo largo de la temporada seria escasa e irrisoria.
La campaña inicio de la mejor manera, una gran victoria de local ante Udinese, un buen punto de visitante ante Atalanta por la segunda fecha, victoria ante Bolonga posteriormente, empate ante Sassuolo de visita, y una gran victoria en el Derby ante Inter. Por el lado de la competencia europea, el Milan empataba ante Salzburg de visita, vencía de local al Dinamo, y de visita sufría una derrota muy dolorosa ante Chelsea. La revancha ante Chelsea no seria muy distinta, con derrota también aunque de local. Milan necesitaba vencer a Dinamo y a Salzburg si quería clasificar como segundo. Cosa que lograría.
La lucha por el campeonato el Milan la empezaría a perder rápidamente, cayendo ante Napoli de local. Y tropiezos incomprensibles ante Cremonense y Torino. Llegaría el párate por la copa de Qatar, y aunque en ese momento no lo sabíamos, el Milan estaba dando vestigios de lo que serian las próximas semanas a nivel futbolístico...

Lo que sucedería en el mes de Enero ha sido una de las catástrofes futbolísticas mas dolorosas que he vivido.
Empezaría el 2023 con un Milan venciendo en Salerno al equipo local por 2 a 1, y ante Roma llegaría el empate que derrumbaría todo; el equipo de Pioli vencía por 2 a 0 a la Roma de Mou hasta el minuto 88, Ibañez marcaba el descuento y el equipo no supo mantener la ventaja y al ultimo minuto la Roma empataría el encuentro. Y en ese momento ocurrió la hecatombe: Milan caería eliminado de Copa ante Torino, de local, y con un jugador mas en tiempo extra, luego el Milan empataría ante Lecce dando un espectáculo deplorable, y ante Inter caerían derrotados por goleada en la Supercopa. Todo, en un periodo de no mas de 15 días. La cosa no termino ahí. Dos derrotas seguidas, ante Sassuolo por 5 a 2, y ante Lazio por 4 a 0 dejaban al Milan fuera de toda lucha en contexto local siendo apenas Enero.
La Champions era la única esperanza para el equipo de Pioli, y el rossonero haría enfoque en aquella competencia, venciendo a los Spurs de Conte, y de a poco en Liga levantando con victorias tímidas pero victorias a fin de cuentas.
Entre Marzo y Abril, el Milan jugaría 3 partidos ante el Napoli, que ya se sentía campeón en la liga, y que en Champions daba buenos partidos constantemente con goleadas a favor contra equipos como Liverpool o Ajax. Parecía una misión imposible, pero no fue así.
Un sorpresivo 4 a 0 del Milan al Napoli en el Diego Armando Maradona sorprendía a propios y extraños, pues dadas las realidades de ambos equipos un resultado así era previsible pero viceversa, sin embargo el equipo de Pioli mandaba un mensaje claro. Y ese mensaje se traslado a la Champions. Con una ida en la que Maignan seria figura y un solitario gol de Bennacer daba ventaja, para la vuelta, Oshimen y Kvicha buscaban la remontada, pero Giroud hizo uso de su prolongada experiencia y mataba las ilusiones napolitanas. El Milan estaba en semis de Champions.

Pero los que pensábamos así estábamos equivocados.
En el duelo de ida, el Inter en apenas 15 minutos ya ganaba por 2 a 0 y merecía mas. La eliminatoria ya estaba sentenciada. El equipo de Pioli no compitió en absoluto, para la vuelta, ni el mas optimista creyó en la remontada, y aunque hubo un par de aproximaciones del Milan al arco del Inter, de nada sirvieron, pues Lautaro pondría el 1 a 0 en el marcador, y con ello sellaría el pase a la final de la Champions, y el sueño rossonero culminaría de la peor manera, eliminado a las puertas de la final por el vecino rival.
El Milan tendría que afrontar las ultimas fechas del campeonato con la intención de clasificar 4to para ir a la próxima champions; un equipo campeón con un estándar tan bajo fue un poco humillante, pero el Milan encarrilo una serie de victorias que lo hicieron sellar el pase a la próxima champions, culminando una temporada gris y desabrida.

Desde el mercado de fichajes, con solo una incorporación de relativo peso importante, el equipo no transmitió buenas sensaciones. Que uno es hincha y tiene fe, eso es otra cosa, pero lo normal es que el realismo se interponga ante otras perspectivas.
Haber tropezado contra rivales sencillos pre mundial hizo que el Napoli se escapara. Y me animo a decir que así el Milan no hubiese tenido esos tropiezos la Serie A no la ganaba tampoco, pero mi deseo es y será que el equipo compita siempre. Y un campeón debe defender la corona de la mejor forma, siempre.
La derrota en Copa fue humillante. Y ese mes de Enero tan nefasto fue inaceptable.
En Champions, la cosa fue mucho mejor y eso de cierta forma maquillo las derrotas en los otros contextos, pero caer eliminados ante Inter en semis, para mi, destruyo todo lo bueno también.
Las conclusiones, para el lector, pueden ser pésimas, pero de un campeón yo siempre voy a esperar mucho, y el Milan, no lo dio.
La temporada fue 6.5/10.

Personalmente pienso que el AC Milán es el gigante dormido de Italia, más allá de que exista la Juventus, Inter, Napoli, etc,.
Un dato importante hermano, trata de centrar las imágenes, justifica el texto para una mejor vista de tú material, un consejo, usa imágenes con el formato 1280x720 ya que por defecto no necesitan centrarse o usa mayores a ese tamaño. Saludos.
