Digital Painting - Tiger / トラを描きました

Happy New Year!
This is my first artwork of 2022!
2022 is a year of tiger, so of course, I have to draw a tiger. Well, I'm hoping to improve on drawing animals this year as well as so many other things so let's get started!
I borrow the photo from REE PARK SAFARI as my reference.

I'm using Procreate today. First, I imported the reference photo onto Procreate. I don't think there is a subview window on Procreate, so I'm going to have my reference on the same canvas, but on a different layer.

あけましておめでとうございます！
新年初お絵描きです。今年は寅年ということで、描かないわけにはいきませんよね、トラ。
今年は動物も上手く描けるようになりたいです。
参考にした画像はREE PARK SAFARIさんからお借りしました。

今日はProcreateを使って描きます。
先ず画像を取り込みます。Procreateってサブヴューウィンドウがないですよね？なのでレイヤーを分けますが、参考にする画像はキャンバスに置きます。

I wanted to have my drawing surface the same size as the reference photo, so I duplicated the reference photo, slid one of the reference photos and prepared my canvas.
The background was black so I coloured in black.

参考画像と同じ大きさの描くスペースを作ります。画像を複合して複合したもののひとつを右にスライドします。背景は黒にしたいので黒く塗りつぶします。

The next step was to lay down the shape of the tiger, slowly add some details and get bored haha
Seriously, what is the right way to draw furs??? I get discouraged just thinking about it.

次にトラの形に色を置いて〜描き込んでいくのですが〜飽きてしまいました、笑
もう、動物の毛並みってどう描くのが正解なんでしょう？？？考えただけで嫌になります。

Hopefully, I could be a pro of this at the end of 2022.
I don't want to go hyperrealism, but somehow realistic. Although, I wouldn't mind some rough brush strokes left on the canvas. My problem is that my brush strokes could get quite messy...
Anyways, there are lots to work on.

年中には腕を上げたいです。
ハイパーリアリズムは目指してないのですが、リアル且つなんかカッコよく描きたいのです。ブラシのストロークがぐちゃぐちゃするのをどうにかしたいです。

I added details as possible, and my tiger is completed. I hope you like it.

描けるだけ描き込んで出来上がりとします。また頑張ります。
