Some of you already know that I commute three hours to get to work. It’s crazy, but I don’t mind it too much. I live in the city and my workplace is in the woods Lol. It almost feels like I am taking a day trip to the countryside.
I learned to take care of things that I usually do while sitting at home and have my daily walk during my commute. So no problem! Well, almost…except for the months when many tourists travel.
The weather is getting warm so I started to see many tourists on my commute to work. Commuting to work with tourists is not fun. The traffic is horrible during the summer.
Anyway, I took a long walk to get to the ferry after work the other day because my regular ferry was running 90 minutes behind. It’s ok…I usually walk home from downtown which takes me about 35 minutes. I just had to take my daily walk on the workplace side of town and take a bus home from downtown.
Although, 90 minutes behind was pretty bad.
The ferry was behind because someone ditched their vehicle on the ferry and went home taking a bus. The ferry crews could not locate this person so they had to call the police.
Anyways, I had a pretty good walk. I didn’t bump into bears. I managed to take some photos to show you. I hope the person who ditched the vehicle on the ferry is ok. It is a pretty big thing to forget. I wonder if he had some memory problems.

私の通勤時間は片道3時間です。はい、クレイジーなやつですね。知ってます、笑　既にご存知の方もいらっしゃいますよね。でもあまり気にならないんです。家は都会にあって勤め先は森の中…田舎に日帰り旅行しているような気分です。

通勤中はメールの返信やら予約やら、友達に連絡したり、ブログ、お絵描き…など普段家でしていることをこなしながら、STEPNもします。慌ただしいですが問題なし！まあ、ほぼ問題なし…観光客が増える月を除いては…

そう…最近暖かくなってきたので、通勤時にたくさんの観光客を見かけるようになりました。観光客と一緒に通勤するのは楽しくありません。夏場の渋滞はひどいものです。マナーの悪い人もいます。

さてさて、先日帰りのフェリーが90分遅れで運航していたので、時間潰しに歩いてフェリー乗り場まで向かいました。

それは別にいいんです…いつもダウンタウンから35分くらいかけて歩いて帰りますから。毎日の散歩を勤め先側で済ませ、ダウンタウンからはバスに乗れば家に着くのは同じくらいの時間なはず…90分も遅れていなければね、笑

フェリーが遅れたのは車でフェリーに乗ったのに、車を置いて降りてしまった方がいたからです。その方はバスに乗って帰ったそうで…ニュースになっていました。フェリーの乗務員はその人の居場所を突き止められず、警察に連絡することになったということです。

90分遅れは困りましたが良いお散歩ができたのでヨシとします。クマに出くわすこともなく無事でした。何枚か写真も撮れました。

ただ、フェリーに車を忘れて行った人のことが少々気になります。あんな大きなものを忘れるなんて記憶障害とかじゃないと良いのですが…
