Buying some Pokémon!

Today I took my kid to the Pokémon store. It’s a couple of friends that open the shop and they sell 90% Pokémon cards and 10% magic cards. They have pretty decent deals and I like visiting there with my kids because I feel like they’re not getting ripped off. Today I decided to buy a couple packs of Pokémon cards as well.

I’m not planning on opening these cards. They are going on the top shelf in my closet and they’re gonna sit there for the next 15 years. Hopefully in sometime they will go up in price. Maybe we’ll have another huge jump like we had in 2020 and 2021.

What do you think of this investing strategy? It’s not something I’m gonna put a lot of money into. But I did spend $50 on these today. I think they could be worth a couple hundred during the next Pokémon boom. I guess it also depends on if one of the sets goes up in value over the long haul.

What are you investing in right now? I know we’re all investing in hive. Probably some of us are investing in other cryptos as well. I guess I’m wondering what are you investing in outside of crypto.
