Pulled a top rookie and still no money!
I went to Walmart this week and saw some prizm blaster boxes. They were 34.99 each. Two years ago those would be 9.99 each. So the price has gone up a lot but I could not resist by a couple. So last night I decided to crack them open and I didn’t get anything good other than this one cade Cunningham rookie card.
Rookies used to bring in really good money. This card is only selling for like $17. I was pretty shocked by this I didn’t realize how far the card market has come down in the last year and a half since I quit trading.
There is no way people are making money cracking up in boxes of cards anymore. If anyone is I would love to hear your strategy. Now it’s just for fun when you want to crack some wax. I love doing it just for fun he just cannot do it as often if you’re not making money.

You really cannot make money breaking those boxes, the odds are definitely not in your favor. Better go for group breaks, at least you can go for the teams you like. Card market really has gone down a lot, but its still way up from 2018-19 levels.
Yeah it's crazy. We used to be able to clear out Walmart. Crack the boxes. Grade the cards and make 2k a month on card without much work.
Who do you collect? For me its Luka and Shaq. I follow the Mavs.

I remember blaster boxes being $19.99. The price increases have been to prevent people from buying up every single box as soon as they hit the shelves.
Yeah has not worked yet. It will work though if prices stay this low. I miss the old days of making money on every box.

Well I miss the old days (2019) of being able to walk into a store and find boxes of cards on the shelf!
Now you have to focus on the metaverse if you want to win something.
